Great hotel when away for business right near centre

Really good clean hotel. I booked 2 rooms with a colleague who arrived separately but oddly they gave me key card to her room which was a bit embarrassing when I entered the room. I also left my card in the room during the stay and they did the same again and they couldn’t find Me in the system. This was sorted, so a minor inconvenience but I feel needs to be addressed. Apart from that really quiet, clean nice rooms and bar.

Hotel was very average. The rooms were a tired and the bathroom needed renovating. Lots of chipped tiles, a yellowing toilet seat and marked walls. The room was small and a little dark but the bed was clean and comfortable. Service was reception was friendly and efficient. Some traffic noise heard throughout the night for the rooms facing the front of the hotel.

The hotel felt tired and is in need of an upgrade. Whilst the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is very dated and I did not think the room was the cleanest. For example, there were long hairs and crumbs still on the table and desk. Location wise, the hotel is in a good spot and I was able to walk easily to the train station and shops. For what I needed, the hotel was fine.

We had a very good family room for 3 people unfortunately it was at the front of the hotel on the main road and after a very noisy first night we asked to be changed to a quieter room the hotel immediately obliged and after packing our stuff the hotel staff moved our stuff for us which was very good

Very good location centrally in Plymouth. Walk to the Barbican in a few minutes, or up the Hoe, as well as to the City Center.

We booked a superior room, but was convinced we were given a standard room by accident. Even queried it and they confirmed the superior rooms get a biscuit and a bottle of water……..I’d suggest just bringing your own and booking a standard as the room was the same size as was the bathroom.
For somewhere convenient to put your head down it’s fine, but aside from the bloody/bar it is in need of a big refurbishment. Rooms are very dated and drab and need a good overhaul.

Poor check in process, not enough on main desk at busiest period, queuing out the door into street.

The bed was rock hard. Had the worst night sleep ever. Booked it as the Leeds hotel was very comfortable and slept great but this hotel must have had different mattresses as it wasn’t anywhere near the same

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Light come into the room in the morning from an opening that cannot be adjusted by the guests, which makes shutting the curtains completely redundant.
The receptionist was a friendly and polite person, but the hotel system seems extremely slow in processing the check in.
We had a good enough stay.

Leonardo remains what I consider the staple of customer service for a mid range hotel. Great room, helpful staff and good rates
