We had a wonderful stay here. Our room was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was all very helpful and generous. I would highly recommend taking the sugar plantation tour with Anya, she was incredibly knowledgable and fun to learn from.

This casa is so beautiful, most definitely aesthetically pleasing.
We were greeted by Gaby, who was very informative, she knew we were only in Trinidad for a couple of nights so provided us with details of where to visit with maps. She also gave us her number.
Our room was spacious and so stunning, we really did feel like we was experiencing real Trinidad de cuba living staying in this room. Previous reviews have mentioned cleaniness and insects, the casa and our room were clean, we did have insects but that was our own fault for leaving our balcony door and windows open, I would recommend taking a insect repellent if it’s something you can’t endure. The breakfast was amazing, the cook Leomali really went out of her way, she saw one morning I was feeling poorly she made me Cuban fruit drink which really helped. The location of this casa was perfect. We were in walking distance of all local bars and restaurants.
There isn’t any WiFi in this casa, which is an issue in Trinidad as a whole. This really wasn’t a problem for us. We met the host Jose he was always accommodating even though his English wasn’t the best, he made sure he understood and provided an excellent service. I will definitely return and stay in this casa.

This casa particular is very expensive, but has NO INTERNET. There are options in Trinidad, which are just as nice and less expensive, but also have internet service. Gabriela and Lius Marie were lovely, but the disappointing interactions with the owner left us with a bitter after-taste. If we go back, we would definitely choose a different place.

Location was excellent. A short walk from the main attractions. A cosy and intimate property with only 4 rooms. Each room designed and decorated in a unique style. Breakfast ( at an additional cost of €6pp) served in internal courtyard directly outside your room. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful although only spoke Spanish. Reception area only manned upon arrival. Prior notification required. Here, Gabi was excellent. Spoke English and orgainosed a visit to the nearby sugar cane plantation and our onward private taxi to Havana....both at a very reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Location is central.
Aesthetic of the place is good.
Non existing service.
You may be insulted as an ‘imbecile’ by the owner should you point that the AC barely worked and there was no hot water (across 2 days). He might try to bring up that you don’t know how to make a shower work. He may not bring up the insects at night in the bathroom though. After all that, will still find the nerve to mention he does a favor storing luggage or letting you use a bathroom at luggage collection.

Casa Amistad is a very beautiful house. The rooms are large with air conditioning. There is no WIFI or internet available and this was the issue for me.
Breakfast was good but limited in scope. Location was good and easy to walk to all sights and restaurants.

A beautiful casa! The room was so pretty and super comfortable, and the courtyard was lovely and relaxing. We paid extra for the breakfast (only 5 euro pp per day) which was worth it. Location is also perfect for exploring Trinidad. One thing to keep in mind is that the owner doesn’t live here, there is a maid who comes at night till morning but she doesn’t speak English. It’s worth taking the number of the lady who greets you at check in just in case of emergency.
