• We were surprised that there would be a cleaning fee on top of the fee for staying. This is highly unusual for a hotel. The extra fee really ought to be advertised ahead of time more clearly.
• The place had virtually no daylight! There were 2 large windows, but only to a narrow shaft with building on all sides (approximately 3x3 meters and approximately 4 stories high). These windows were darkened with a reflective film, making it even darker.
• The bedroom door was so low that we could not walk into and out of the bedroom without having to bend down significantly. The door frame was only 175 tall.
• Several restaurants or other businesses right under the apartment removed trash or other containers or items with A LOT of loud, metallic scraping and clanking every morning between approximately 4 and 6 am.
• The bedroom was so small that one person had to literally crawl into and out of bed. We are not as agile as we used to be. We enclose pictures.
• There was dried menstrual or other blood on the comforter, which did not have a comfoter cover. There were also blood-like stains and other stains on the two sofa pillows.
• The location address is just the front desk, which is an office. Our unit/room was a few minutes walk away.
• The TV looked new, but we could not find any English language stations.
• As a couple, it was inconvenient to only get one set of keys.
• The apartment was nicely renovated with new fridge, washing machine, and coffee maker.

This was a great location, and a historical stay, which I loved. Unfortunately, I felt very disrespected by the hotel. They came into our apartment where we were staying without telling us. We asked for more toilet paper and they could have delivered it then as we were always out and did not have time to stop by the office. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable and 2 out of the 5 appliances did not work. The furniture was worn out and dirty. Also the shower had issues. We dealt with everything and made the most of it, but I am truly disappointed in the way we were treated. We should have received another room that had the working amenities offered.

We had a mouse in our room the entire stay and no hot water for days until they were able to assist with that. Staff was not very helpful and there was trash outside our room for days before we brought it to their attention and they finally removed it.

The location of this property is fantastic- in the heart of old town and a 2 min walk to the water front. That said, it’s very loud into the early hours of the morning which makes sleeping challenging. The main living space has AC but the bedroom doors need to be left open to get air into the rooms which does not help with dampening the noise while sleeping. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The floors felt like they hadn’t been swept and the beds are very uncomfortable. If you have difficulty with stairs, this property is not for you. We loved that the property had a washing machine!

I stayed at this property in July 2024.
We arrived and picked up the keys to our apartment around 6pm. We then walked to the apartment and unlocked the door to the apartment. When we attempted to open the door, the door handle fell off! We were unable to enter the apartment. There was and still is no contact number after 6pm to contact the reception! I swiftly ran to the office to see if anyone could help, but they had shut by this point. I was left with no other option but to spend a night in a hotel nearby.
I went to the reception the day after, and they apologised and fixed the door handle. I was told that I would get a refund for the 1 night stay and they were sorting this out with Expedia.
The apartment was ok in itself. A small apartment, very steep staircase to get up with luggage. The apartment had the basics that you need however the air conditioning was very loud!
After checking out on the final day and not receiving a refund for the first night, the reception staff said that I have to contact Expedia myself.
I am now home, and still not received my refund. I have contacted Expedia directly who have said they have tried multiple times to contact the property and they have declined the 1 night refund on multiple attempts. Expedia have told me there is nothing else that they can do as the property has declined my refund. I am therefore writing this review to warn people of how deceitful this property is and to not book with them. I feel really let down by them :(

I stayed at this property in July 2024.

The second property had working air conditioning, but was not quite as nice. The bed was hard as a rock. The location of both properties in the Old Town was great. Everything was walkable. I also want to give a should out to the property manager for being responsive and able to move us because of the air conditioning issue.

The apartment was roomy. One of the three rooms was down below and didn't have any windows and had a slight old smell but super private. First time walking in the stairway was a bit interesting and looked like a breezeway was built between two buildings, ie a lot of electrical wires hanging down. I would still stay here again because it was a great location.

Mainly positive but a couple of minor moans. Good stuff first. Super clean, very comfy bed, enough kitchen equipment for basic cooking, a couple of coffee makers, nice chairs and tables, nicely laid out bathroom with sufficient towels. A big airy room with 2 big opening windows. Very secure feel to the whole block of flats, and a great central location. If only it had been a few floors lower. There are 70, yep, seven zero stair steps to get to your flat and no lift. It's utterly exhausting! Because it's central and the old city is a vibrant buzzing place, it's a bit noisy at weekends, with music from nearby bars. There are wooden shutters outside the double glazed windows, but only light diffusing curtains, so it's not really dark unless the sky is pitch black. The shower attachment was broken, so you have to hold the shower head in your hand. That's a shame cos it's a lovely big shower. Minimal shower gel, coffee, etc. would have been nice to have some tea bags, a small milk, a bit more gel. Just little things that you're forced into buying quickly before the shops shut. Ultimately it's a great 'one room does all' appartment for a few days in an outstanding city. No frills and with a little tlc would get 5 stars. However, the strength sapping stairs would prevent us from returning. It's about 5 times as many as in a regular house. Not good after a meal with drinks.

Great and convenient location. Close to the hustle and bustle, but not in the middle of it. The Bar was pretty good for a quick stop when heading out or coming back, and was always well visited. The room was clean but very small- however, that was fine for us! Tons of restaurants and pubs nearby and all the sights and sounds are easily walkable.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was nice with plenty of space. There were a couple of niggly bits, the shower drain was really slow, the door was very stiff to open and close and lock, and the lady said they'd pop in and change the bedding and towels mid week which didn’t happen

This was the best apartment for our holiday in Nice! The location is central and easy to find. The ApartHotel people were so kind when our stay was changed due to delayed flights. They were helpful and so kind.
The dining and shopping in the area is excellent! There's a small grocery just around the corner, and everything in Old Town is a 5 minute walk away!

Location was great however the sink and shower were blocked from the previous people and when we asked for help to fix it they said yes then never did anything. The owner is also yet to return my 300 euro deposit… which I will be following up however I am extremely unimpressed.

Apartment is located in the old city. Very close to the promenade and to the city beach. That's great, undoubtedly. It is furnished rather good and you have nearly everything needed. However, there are some traces of wear and long term usage. Nevertheless, the top communication, friendliness and responsiveness from the owner smooth out those minor nuances. Altough, the cleaning fee is very exaggerated 45 EUR. To my opinion it is too high, especially, considering that you must leave the apartment absolutely clean (to wash all dishes, to sort all towels and rubbish, to make your bad and so on, etc. ), otherwise you are not in compliance with the rental rules and your safaty deposit will be charged. I don't know how this place is quite enough, as there is a night bar in front of the house. And thanks to the night curfew it was closed. Otherwise it would be impossible to sleep, as the building is old and the noise isolation is extremely bad. You hear all your neighbours and all people in the street passing by.

The apartment was large, clean, trendy and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, in a quiet street in the middle of Old Town. The service was very professional, and we would love to stay in the apartment again in the future!
