Needed a getaway with my partner and this place was amazing! The building itself is beautifully made. Walking in the hotel you're greeted with friendly staff & the decor, layout, etc was so cool looking! The room was super clean & didn't have any issues with anything in the room. The shower products smell soooo good! My partner left his at home but after smelling their products I'm half tempted to order it. Checking out was super easy . We say good morning, dropped our keys and out the door we were. So simple & painless. I would recommend this location to anyone

The only things I disliked was no iron & the shower needed a seal at the bottom. The floor got really wet outside the shower.

The lady at the front front desk was very abrupt… she was checking in a large wedding party and told us it wouldn’t be until 4 or 5 pm before she would be able to get to us…ck in was 3pm we were there at the desk at 3pm exactly… we had to leave for 2 hours and come back…we had a long trip… wanted to get to our room…. If I had not have paid already I would have went across the street to another hotel… besides that the hotel was great!!

The toilet seat was dirty the shower was not clean, and they didnt come take the trash out by the day so I had to either leave a bag at door early and they grab it or it would be left. It is near everything so that is a plus and the front desk staff they are awesome and it has a bar and pool and gym so it was overall ok .

I can remember when The Aloft was new, and an exciting place to stay. The Aloft is now about 15 years old or more, and it’s no longer new or exciting. It’s still different, but it needs upgrades. The carpets are dirty. My room had dried paint on the carpet. That was an issue throughout the hotel. You could see touch up paint in many areas of the walls of the hotel. The furniture is old and has signs of the finish chipping. Signs in the elevators are smudged, and worn out. And… and this is a pet peeve of mine… the gym. If you are going to have a gym, then maintain the equipment. There was an Elliptical machine that was broken. I had to figure that out myself. The TV’s on the treadmills don’t work. Come on folks! The hotel needs maintenance. Badly. It’s not a ”dump” by any means. It’s a solid 3 Star hotel. But the age is visible to the naked eye. Also, it’s a non smoking hotel. That’s fine. But how about having places to sit near the smoking areas outside of the hotel. I guess smokers are just expected to stand in the cold and rain? I’m paying for a room just like non smokers. That’s a simple and cheap way to make smokers feel appreciated for their business. Lastly, the shower could use one small upgrade. A shelf on the wall. Many people like myself travel with our own soap, shampoo, razors etc. There is no place to put those items inside the shower. So showering becomes an unnecessarily awkward experience. Just add a $10 shelf to the shower.

It was okay. I definitely would not choose this hotel again. They put me in a handicapped room and I did not ask for a handicap room. The blinds didn't work. They had to come in twice and fix them. The young lady on the desk on Saturday morning/afternoon was unpleasant. The hospitality industry definitely isn't for her. All other staff was PHENOMENAL! Overall, I wasn't impressed at all.
