The photos of the property made it look like a big hotel on a hill but our room was in an outbuilding like one of the very inexpensive motels in the US.

The Spa was amazing.

Just barely average. Reservation stated room would be ready by 4pm but was not, spas at pavilion are more buckets, indoor pool is so small, more like a big bath.
Humongous room but barely no furniture, chairs are too small for size of balcony, shuttle take you downhill but does not bring you back up the hill.. Just average.

Stayed at this hotel one night before heading to our whale watching expedition. Air conditioning unit is fairly loud, the hotel does provide ear plugs. Close proximity to a Casino. Staff is friendly.

I liked the view, that’s pretty much the only positive thing about this. Since our room was in the Pavillon I felt like the checking guy pushed us off like we were less then the people staying in the main hotel. I didn’t like my experience

Large room, well appointed, with great view but AC needs upgrading. It worked, sometimes, and was noisy, always. Parking is behind the building but it isn't mentioned anywhere, no obvious to locate. There also are only 2 EV chargers, poorly located.

Top quality hotel with gorgeous spa, beautiful views lovely rooms. I stayed in the Pavilions which is an annexe up the hill from the main hotel, which I really liked because it was smaller and quieter. I had a fabulous view over the river and spent a lot of time enjoying the view from my balcony. There is a shuttle between the annex and the main hotel but I found a lovely way to walk. Because it is all basically in the cliffside, there are a lot of stairs, which I liked as good exercise, but you would need to use the shuttle if you need to avoid stairs.
The spa was amazing with lovely views over the river and the cool pool was big enough for a little swim, with a fun waterfall. I had a lovely massage and the staff were all super nice and friendly.
All round great place and very convenient for the Train de Charlevoix as it is a short walk from the station.

When we arrive at the place, there were no clear indication or the building was even though they try to explain to you they don’t even acknowledge that there’s no front entry because it’s blocked by bulldozers, but they still give you the same direction when your tourist direction when you arrive in the hotel, which was not the case furthermore, there’s no safe in any room so if you’re coming to play the casino, I’m assuming you have money there’s no safe place to put it. You have to carry it with you at all time And your passports and your jewellery and everything that you carry so avoid this place every cost the chairs on the balcony were broken. They never replaced them so I sat down. I went right through when I called him up to see the chairs on the balcony are not supposed to be there this well open the closet is two more chairs. I fell through a chair on the balcony. I hurt myself and they didn’t even care . They finally told him they were broken. Why are they still there and client service they drive you down with the vessel to go to the casino but they won’t bring you back up so if you’re in a wheelchair in a walker or if you don’t if you cannot climb stairs because there’s three level of steps that you need to climb to go back from the casino to your room if you are not in shape, don’t go there and there Advice when you tell them you bring me back they tell you a taxi response

Staying over from the weekend through to Monday, we didn't realise how noisy the adjacent Port de Pointe-au-Pic warehouse/distribution centre would be Sunday night. Every time a vehicle reversed the beeping noise came on. They worked all through the night. Early next morning the St Lawrence had sea fog so ships' foghorns blew. All this to say that perhaps we should've done some research about these two factors. If you have your window closed with the AC running this may not be a problem but we like fresh air. So there's a quandary. Fresh air or noise. You make the choice.
