Hotel had direct access to the beach, restaurant nice food , the waiters very friendly.
Didn’t like at all the spa.
Found it very small , and the massage prices excessively expensive and not well delivered . Would not return .

We had a great stay at this hotel. The kids loved the different activities and the lovely staff at the kids Club. The rooms are spacious and the pool area really nice. The breakfast and lunch was good, would go elsewhere for dinner as lacks a bit of atmosphere at the hotel at night.

No WiFi service available. Mosquitos in the room

The hotel feels like empty without warmth. The services were incredible and the room very big but without any personality. No flower's the furniture around the lobby is small and not so comfortable
As a spa the hotel does not have a personal smell, no sounds, and absolutely nothing on the walls. The pool is the but not attractive at all.

i visited this hotel a few years back when it operated under the name, fuerte estepona so we decided to return. we stayed a night, sat to sat and having returned a few days ago, i wish to point out that it was below my expectation. this hotel has so much potential. when we checked in i asked for private parking which costs €20 which i understand but the offer you a package for €30 which also includes kids club, padel tennis amongst other things. i had never heard than an hotel charges you extra for kids club or padel tennis. on the topic of kids club, there were no announcements of activities taking part. we were not informed of where the restaurants where or what time the breakfasts was. after a windy day on saturday, we ate on our sunbed which is quite nice. however, prices are a bit expensive. there is an extra charge as they take the food to you. however, once you are done, they won't come to clear up. after 2 hours i decided to take it back to the bar as the wind was blowing everything away and they were aware but decided not to do anything about it. staff is walking around sunbeds waiting for you to place orders but that is it. there was only 1 lift operating which can be quite annoying. the staff was either new or way under-trained. i dont think i will be returning to this hotel for the rate you pay.

Hotel was ok but lack of amenities, huge open spaces in rooms as if furniture missing, no basic facilities like tea/coffee making, it claims to be 4 star, it could be but they need to sort out facilities in the Hotel, huge Bar and area around on ground floor but not currently open

Views from balcony are amazing! Our room had ants near bed and restroom, we were moved to another room. Staff was split, some nice some rude. May book again.

Whilst we had a very nice holiday here we were disappointed to find that there was no communal bar/lounge area nor a permanently established indoor restaurant (the indoor part was the breakfast room; the dining restaurant was entirely outdoor either in gardens or by the pool with no option to dine inside). On the one cool and cloudy day - too chilly to be outside - there was nowhere warm and communal to lounge around or get drinks. You had to be either outside by the pool or in your room. Although described as a "hotel" it doesn't seem to offer the full suite of services I would typically expect because it lacks that communal area.
Secondly, we were visiting end of season about 3 weeks prior to seasonal close and they seemed to be getting low in stock of our chosen wines at dinner eg we were selecting the last bottle or the wine was no longer available.
However, the staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely - as a keen swimmer I enjoyed doing daily laps because it offers a good length of at least c. 25m in the longest stretch. The gym has good cardio equipment although it was annoying to find there was no water available to gym users.
Regarding location: it is a short 10 min taxi ride outside of Estepon. Taxis could be called very quickly. Nearest grocery store is almost literally across the road but on foot is via a circuitous walk in order to cross a very busy dual carriageway.

Hotel is really nice. No complimentary tea/coffee in the rooms. That was a let down.

Room was dull and dingy. Stuck in a corner on ground floor. No discretion curtain. Not cleaned properly, things not working. Staff were grumpy at best - apart from the amazing main chef.

Lovely hotel stayed as a family with 2 boys 9 and 12. Staff very helpful and the rooms are really big all with balcony’s . I feel it used to be 5 star but is going to be undergoing some work as only half open and a little tired in places but definitely worth a stay if you’re looking for a nice relaxing holiday. You will need to get taxis ( between 7-10 euro each way) to the port and Estepona if you want more dining options. As nothing local . We did this most evenings. Breakfast amazing and pool service good for snacks

3 night short holidays with my Mom , half board and food was very very good . I would maybe say room cleaning was not amazing, but also not dirty, just about ... pool nice , on the beach itself, we enjoyed.

Very good value and high quality hotel. A bit far out of town but we had a car. Food and drinks double the price of bars etc in town . Tennis and Padel were too expensive to use .

Beautiful hotel, lovely location on the beach. Excellent swimming pools. Lovely large room but rather bland furnishings, however we understand it will be closing next week for refurbishment.

I loved this resort my only complaint is that i cnt understand why there is no tissue box in the room or a coffee maker. I mean these are minimum stuff that should be available in the rooms.
Other than that everything else was great. They have a kids club for ur kids which was perfect, and the service was great.

The hotel is at a good location on the beach. The spa was great and I had a wonderful massage from Mary which was awesome.

Breakfast was really good, on the other hand I’d recommend more entertaining for the night

We only stayed for one night but the hotel staff were very nice. The accommodation is very standard / basic considering it’s rating.

Beautiful clean property. Beautiful view of the sea. Friendly, helpful staff.
Great buffet breakfast.
Limited menu for lunch and dinner.
Not a walkable area. Need to drive or taxi to any other restaurants or shopping.

This is an older property in need of renovation. However, the staff at every level and position are magnificent, and more than made up for the condition of the building. Everyone was cordial, professional, knowledgeable, extremely helpful, very kind, and very considerate. I would stay at this hotel again, simply based on the quality of the employees.
Note: repairs to the facility were being made during my stay. Once the repairs are completed, this will be a beautiful hotel.
The only other issue I encountered, is that the hotel’s location is not pedestrian friendly. You will need to have a car, or hire a taxi to go anywhere. But again, the superb staff is more than willing to help you secure a taxi or rental car.

Amazing family trip in October - beautiful hotel and pool area. Breakfast is high quality, enjoyed all week long.
Internet was poor quality, and indoor pool/spa only allowed age 12 and above.

So, we decided to stay a few days with the family at this resort. Very nice amenities in terms of great pool area, padle/tennis court in ok conditions.
On the down side:
- No gym worth the name
- Really poor standard at the restaurant
- Unflexible staf at the reception
All in all ok visit, but far from expectations’
