We had a terrific stay at the Inn. We were fortunate in that it was a midweek, non-wedding stay! I can imag8ne it gets busy then. Centrally located fo cafes and bars. They have passesfor the beach, too! We would come back again.

This is a gem! It is right downtown where there are shops, restaurants, safe places to walk, picnic on the common, attend a yoga class nearby, etc.

The Res Lion was a unique inn. It had modern conveniences in a historic building. The property was lovely. The room was pretty, and the bathroom was wonderful with a jacuzzi tub big enough to swim in and a fabulous shower. The beds were soft and very comfortable, the perfect height for my super tall husband, but a little tall to be easily accessed by my elderly mom.
We loved walking through the property and through the town of Cohasset.

I stayed in this property for two nights.
Things I liked about my stay:
- First, I would like to say that the jacuzzi tub in my room was very clean and made my stay so much better.
- I also really appreciated the waters in my room for my stay.
- The staff had a boxed breakfast available for me each morning to take to work (business trip).
Things that I didn't like about my stay:
- Parking - there needs to be signage to show where guests should be parking and how to get into the building.
- The pool - at check in the woman said the pool should be ready the next day and to ask tomorrow. The next day I asked the person in charge at the desk if the pool was ready and she LAUGHED at me and told me no. I understand the no, but laughing at me for asking was uncalled for and rude.
- I had brought food back to the room and placed it on top of the mini fridge. Within 15 minutes my food was COVERED IN ANTS. Needless to say everything got thrown out.
- When I got to the room the TV wasn't even hooked up and I had to get someone up to connect it.
- As a person with a BiPAP machine it was darn near impossible to get to the plugs behind the headboard to plug in my machine.
- There was no room cleaning done during my stay, nor was it stated anywhere that cleaning would not be done unless asked.

We loved our stay! Being from the west coast where a lot is new we loved the older style of architecture. It was very cozy:-) the landscape was also gorgeous! We drove to a lot of towns around MA and this was by far the nicest!

What a great place! The room was very comfortable the people friendly. Cohasset turned out to be a great town and I feel very lucky to have ended up spending a night there!

This was such a neat historic property. Check in was easy. Room could probably have used a couple of fixing ups, but it was absolutely gorgeous still. Guess they had a slow couple of days because they upgraded me to a suite with a sunken living room.
The four poster bed was comfortable, the view overlooking the window was cute, breakfast was provided but a bit limited. Id stay here again just for the neat experience in a 1700s Inn.

The Red Lion Inn is very charming, no question. The restaurant/pub is very good. My main issue is that the rooms are VERY noisy. All of the common areas are pre-war era wood planked flooring, including the staircases. They are beautiful, but they are crazy loud. This is an old place, so there is no sound deadening in the rooms. Bring your ear plugs. Second complaint is that the rooms are ridiculously dark. There was one floor lamp and one wall sconce for my entire room. Forget about doing any work. It is a cute place, and would stay here again, but just be aware.

This was our third or fourth visit. My brother and his wife live a quarter mile away, so it is very convenient for visiting. In spite of the time between visits (and the fact that it is usually only for one night) we are always welcomed by staff who remember us.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Rich in character, a piece of history! Everyone on staff at both the restaurant and the Inn were welcoming and friendly. In addition, my room was amazing and so comfortable with lots of windows and great views of the town. I didn’t want to leave!
