Never coming back to this hotel. It was the last days of our honeymoon and the experience we had on the hands of the hotel was the worst we have encountered in our lives. The staff made US LOSE THE LAST DAY OF OUR HONEYMOON AND THEY DONT EVEN GIVE YOU ANY COMPENSATION. TOO PRICEY FOR THE EXPERIENCE YOU GET. We specifically wanted a room that had a jacuzzi (because we knew it was going to rain, so we wanted to enjoy the warm bath with a rood and enjoy the amazing views). Therefore we paid 400€ for 2 nights in that room (the oceanview room). When we get there to use the main reason why we booked that hotel and that room, the hot water didnt work. We asked for the to fix it to be able to enjoy that commodity. They couldnt fix it, so they offered us an “upgraded room” that had a pool and was in front of the beach, and even though it didnt have a jacuzzi, it had a bathtub inside. They assured us the hot water worked in that room. Unfortunately the experience was already bad, because we wanted the other room. Nevertheless, we called to accept the new room to try to enjoy our last day. They said they were cleaning it, to give them 45 minutes. It took them almost 2 hours to give us the new room (in our last day of Honeymoon). We couldnt even ask for room service or leave the room because we were waiting for them ti give us the new one). And then, when we were going to use the commodity of the Bathtub THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THAT ROOM EITHER.

Such a nice hotel. My friend had her birthday while we where at this hotel, we hadn’t said anything to the staff, but I guess they could see that on the booking. The day of her birthday the made a little towel cake, so cute. Very good breakfast, nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, overall a good experience at this hotel.

This is not an Expedia VIP Access hotel. All benefits on Expedia are for ALL hotel guest. Also you will not get any upgrade. Even now in low season, while the hotel is really not crowded "there are no upgrade accomations available". Interesting. The doors of many rooms are broken. The card system to get a new card is broken every day. Every time they promised us to provide us with a card "within 15 min". After calling 3 times and waiting for hours of which more than 1 in the dark (bevause you need the card for electricity, AC etc.) we finally got one again. This happened 2 times, total waste of holiday time. The breakfast is just "ok". The bread is dry and patisserie like croissants are quite fat. So eating something different than rice or omelet is quite difficult. The staff is friendly, but not of any help. Smiling and being friendly doesn't solve problems. Internally they communicate so bad, that every time you have to explain issues again. Believing that things will turn out fine, will disappoint you. Keep on reminding them to do the things they promised you. For example: bring new towels and that house keeping forgot, bring the suitcases to the room. If you ask them, they say "yes we will do", but we found our luggage standing in the lobby for hours. No one did do anything. They smile and say sorry, but that doesn't help. Someone could just have taken it in the meantime. We were lucky that nothing bad happened.

Room need little work, the wood floor need to replace or re do. Breakfast buffet is so so, but the view is great. This hotel is in quite area of samui. The beach isn’t that great, it’s not sandy beach. If you want to get away find yourself. This is the spot. Staff are great, they all deserve 10 out of 10.

If you want a nice quiet place to be then this would be the place for you. There’s nothing around this place. It’s about 20 minutes to the night market and the popular tourist area. This villa is isolated from many major tourist attractions.

Lovely facilities although a little tired and needing a bit of attention. Service was very confusing though, wait staff more preoccupied with chatting amongst themselves than serving customers. Sometimes requiring a wait of 15 minutes to get their attention in an almost empty restaurant. Most of the staff speak a minimal amount of English, meaning common requests such as “no sugar in my coffee” often didn’t get across. Each time the same item was ordered it came back differently, implying little standardisation in the kitchens. Bar tender rarely present at the pool bar, and when they were service was slow and confused. Food was overall delicious but not comparable to restaurants charging similar prices.

Warmer hotel as it is surrounded in trees which is nice. Deet is a must once you walk outside the door once the sun starts setting;) Great location right by the beach and easy access to both pool and sea water. Nice breakfast and staff.

This was my third stay at Fair House Villas & Spa. Everytime satisfying and no complains at all. Great breakfast buffet - lot of choices and the girls are very serviceminded. Thanks to the whole crew - great job !!
