Spacious throughout, Porter Cottage benefits from a living room, kitchen diner, family bathroom, and private courtyard.
The Space:
Porter Cottage is a truly special stay in the heart of Alnwick. Offering a spacious living room, kitchen, diner, three bedrooms, a family bathroom, and a private patio area, you’ll be treated to a truly spectacular holiday home with plenty of perks.
Head to the living room and you’ll find a homely space. Benefiting from a tall window which floods the room with light, the space is bright and welcoming. The perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring Alnwick and Northumberland, you can relax on the sofas or in the armchair and turn on the TV to enjoy Freeview.
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen in Porter Cottage has everything you could need to prepare home cooked meals. Ultra stylish, the kitchen features cream cabinets and crisp white walls. Modern appliances and amenities include an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, and dishwasher, along with a washing machine in the the adjoining utility room.
Also sharing the kitchen space is the dining area which features a light wood dining table and six chairs to ensure all guests are catered for.
Head upstairs to the first floor and you’ll find three bedrooms and the family bathroom.
The master bedroom benefits from a king-size bed, hanging space, a chest of drawers and an ensuite. Ideal for children and teenagers, the second bedroom is a twin, while a comfortable king-size bed, bedside table and lamp complete the third bedroom.
Modern and well equipped, the family bathroom benefits from a large walk-in shower as well as a WC and basin.
Outside you’ll find a small, private courtyard area. A real treat in the heart of Alnwick, you can relax outside in the sunshine during your stay and make the most of the outdoor furniture provided.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Porter Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check in.
Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. No permit is required.
Up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome to stay at Porter Cottage per reservation.
