My wife and I stayed for 9 nights last week and couldn't believe how quiet, peaceful and lovely the place is! The beach was beautiful and private. The whole place is private! You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! The only place to connect with the outside world is in the main clubhouse where there is satellite internet, which we didn't mind at all bc we were definitely trying to unplug. There are some activities you can do such as your basic water sports or book inexpensive excursions, such as great snorkeling spots, Zapatillos (and other) small uninhabited island trips, chocolate farm tours, guided hikes, etc. We were intentionally pretty lazy but did a couple of tours and booked massages with their fantastic visiting masseuse, Eliska!
The place was quiet during our first 2 days as we were the only guests in the whole place, but it didn't matter - they still treated us like royalty! Vince and Rosie are the proprietors and hosts and they took care of any and all of our special requests and concerns. The airline lost our checked bags on the way down but they helped us get them delivered to the island. You couldn't ask for lovelier people!
A few days in and other guests started to arrive but the most people at one time were 6 couples total. Most were american but some were from South America and Europe. All were pretty nice and no one was obnoxious or annoying.
The staff was also great - a very chill trip indeed! Highly recommend

This boutique resort is a 30 minute water taxi ride from Bocas. The owners, Vince and Rosie were welcoming and always doting on us. The food was excellent and portions were generous. The pool has a swim up bar and the bartenders were great.

Our group stayed in four rooms over the Christmas holidays, and had a wonderful time. The staff went out of their way to look after us. We had bpoth the Casita Garden rooms and the Casita Ocean rooms and they were all very good.
