The property is amazing with great amenities surrounded by the most gorgeous scenery. The staff is friendly. The only note I have is about the easiness of access. Since we were arriving after 5pm, which was the time the office closes , the check in instructions were left at the main gate but there were no maps of the area and it took us over an hour to find the designated townhome. Other than that we had a really great time.

I loved that it was quiet and remote, surrounded by well manicured nature. I loved the pools with the slide and all of the pool facilities, including the change rooms and the pool snack shack.

The grounds are beautiful!
Due to staffing shortages we had to order as a take out. The food was delicious all though a little on the pricey side ($29 for an Elk burger)

Beautiful property. We loved the pool.
Beds are a bit squeaky but the room had all of the amenities we’d need and a big shared patio and living area which was almost always empty for us to use

We had several light bulbs burned out in our room and the refrigerator had to be unplugged because it was so loud. Otherwise the room was nice and very clean. I found the golf shop staff to be kind of rude and did not offer us any tips about the course. There was no drink cart or drinks/snacks on the course either. We found the golf course to be very difficult and were not offered a map or gps device. Overall ok experience.

The Wilderness Club is isolated but worth a trip to experience the vastness of Montana. WC is located in Eureka, MT, a small town with limited dining options so plan to dine at the resort or rent a cottage with a kitchen.
The golf course is the highlight of the resort. It is beautifully conditioned , as the cool nights allow the grass to flourish. The course is fair and challenging and should be enjoyable for all handicap levels. Greens fees are reasonable for a course of this quality.
The hotel units are spacious but the rugs have to be replaced by rustic vinyl similar to the bathroom area, as they give a bad first impression.
The breakfasts are quite good with a nice variation from wraps to pancakes. Lunch is served at the "Snack Shack" adjacent to the pool complex. It serves basic items-brats, dogs, burgers. The dinner menu is limited with only 3 entrees -steak, pot roast and a pasta dish although one evening, there was a chicken special, which was very good.
The pool area is small but will keep the kids interest as the slide is fast, The adjacent lake has a tall floating inflatable island , that will challenge the more adventurous visitors
The Wilderness Club is the ideal location for a family or buddies golf trip
Other than the rugs and limited dinner menu, The WC provides a lot to do for a family but even more for golfers, as the course will exceed your expectations

The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept. My husband said golfing was great. Kids really liked the water slide and inflatables at the lake. Definitely bring your bike and/or scooters to ride around the property. Room was very clean with the most comfortable bed! Staff was very nice, but the only reason for some negative review was there was a planned power outage (kinda weird) and fire alarm went off at 4 am and there was no staff anywhere to help. I called 3 numbers, including emergency number listed and no one answered. The noise was so awful and wouldn’t stop that we packed up and left. Overall really fun time with family. But the resort really needs staff onsite 24/7 for emergencies. You are in the middle of no where, so it’s a little scary if you can’t get help from the hotel either.

Great! More remote than I was expecting, but an amazing place for a getaway. No horses this year because of Covid, but you can still ride horses in the town of Eureka. Plan for a rental car and groceries while you are there, and plan to paddle-board in the resort lake! I'll be back for sure.

Top 10 golf courses I’ve ever played and the amenities are amazing! Water slide, hot tub, pool and lakes all around for activities. Not to mention amazing disc golf course!
