DO NOT BOOK! The pictures are not a true representation of this hotel. It is dirty, old (falling apart), everything is at the lowest quality this is not a three star hotel. Room was horrid - thin and cheap pillow, shower that is either too hot or too cold (my young son burnt himself), overcrowded ski area that smells vile and not cleaned well. The staff don’t care or tell you there’s nothing they can do. The biggest regret of our family holiday was to book this place!

Apart from the male receptionist, they were the most incompetent reception staff I have ever witnessed.

Right on the ski slopes. Excellent ski room
Hotel getting a bit shabby now (we have been coming for 15 years)

Excellent stay. The room was large and had everything we required.
Breakfast and dinner were very variable: sometimes extremely good, sometimes average. I think this probably depended upon who was actually in the kitchen at the time.
Ski/boot storage was well organised and tidy. Ski in/out makes life do easy.
We would return.

Stayed here several times but the hotel has gone downhill. Poorly managed, cleaning virtually non existent, food hit and miss and often served cold. Great location, direct access to easy green run and heated lockers in boot room. Several items went missing from boot room whilst we were there, so don’t leave your ski gear lying around for too long. The hotel needs to be managed properly, far too many staff hanging around doing nothing, some of whom were quite rude. Top marks to the lovely Australian lady on reception, who went out of her way to help. Improvements need to be made to bring this hotel up to standard, then it could be so much better.

Booked the hotel as a last minute deal .... While the building is one of the older buildings in the resort the general fabric is okay if a bit souless in areas. The rooms were reasonable size and functional and room services was daily and reasonable. Towels a bit small for big guys though... Good views onto the slopes and we fi worked in the room which was a bonus.
The bar area was quite open and a bit of a 'barn' without much atmosphere although there's a big screen for watching sport and a pool table as well.
The restaurant was the biggest disappointment however ... The breakfast particularly the not offer was pretty poor ....generally very greasy bacon and a trough of what was trying to resemble scrambled eggs - someone forgets to stir during cooking though....it's truly self service at all meals times and waiters a waitresses basically just clear up the dishes....
The evening meals were pretty terrible so much so that we chose to eat out on two occasions ... There were a couple of hot offers in a trough ...and you got the impression that the chefs had no pride in what they had cooked or any interest in how they were presented ...school dinners in every sense !!.the French onion soup was like watery stock water with a few onions thrown in .... The plates and cups were chipped as well.

Hotel is perfectly situated for a ski in ski out, but safely in need of a little TLC. Could also do with having some sort of entertainment on during the evenings, nothing but local footbal the staff wanted to watch. Also wifi wa down nearly all week. Staff are always helpful.

Be prepared to start your stay by carting luggage down an icy slope. Because the Hotel have failed to clear it, taxis will not take you to the entrance.
Despite their room rates, towels are only changed weekly, on Wednesdays.
Cold buffet dishes, selection of cheeses, and fruit flans etc. are superb.
However, the two main courses, cooked by the Hotel, are of very poor standard. The availability of Wi-Fi is sporadic and even then unreliable
