Hidden away in a private valley, surrounded entirely by rolling fields in an AONB, this dreamy cottage combines pretty, contemporary interiors and a beautifully planted garden in which to relax and unwind. Offering unrivalled peace and quiet in an idyllic rural setting, breathtaking views abound, and if you're seeking a genuine opportunity to be immersed in nature, then Foxearth offers a calm oasis of comfort and tranquillity in a truly magical setting.
On arrival at the cottage, French doors lead directly into the bright, open-plan kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and air-fryer. The dining area with a sofa, table, and chairs looks outside onto the pretty garden terrace, a perfect spot for al fresco dining, together with ‘The Potting Shed' with its comfortable vintage daybed. Here you can doze and relax, listening to bees and birdsong by day and by night, enjoy stargazing in this dreamy, designated Dorset's Dark Skies area. Off the hallway, a spacious shower room/cloakroom is conveniently situated. In the cosy sitting room, you'll find comfortable sofas and charming period details with a characterful inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove, offering warmth and comfort and the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Upstairs, the landing leads to two enchanting bedrooms and a beautifully decorated bathroom with a shower. The bedrooms are thoughtfully curated with pretty soft furnishings and luxurious Hypnos beds, putting comfort and relaxation at the fore as the owls gently serenade you into a blissful night's sleep.
With footpaths straight out of the door, you can explore this stunning area, famed for its windswept walks and invigorating cycle rides through gentle valleys and woodland glades, leading up to nearby Milton Abbas and Bulbarrow Hill with its exceptional views across three counties. Just a pleasant drive away, Dorchester, Blandford, Shaftesbury, the Isle of Purbeck, Weymouth Beach and Lulworth Cove are all within easy reach of this fabulous hidden gem.
