About this house rental
This charming 2-bedroom 1-bathroom home is a cosy space to spend winter weekends or summer escapes. The main bedroom has a king bed and opens onto a deck area. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and wash basin. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining is a bright sunny areas. The lounge has comfortable sofas and a Chromecast TV. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for your stay. There are decks around the side and back of the home with seating.
A new sleepout has been built with sleeping for 5 people. Double down single up bunk set and a double sofa bed. Kitchenette with fridge, jug toaster and air fryer and a 2nd bathroom just out the door
A pool table for friendly family competitions, the pool table has a hard top on it so could be used as a table if needed.
The back deck is an amazing space that can be enclosed with roll-down sides. On the back deck, there is outdoor seating and a BBQ. The deck leads out to the fully fenced lawn area. Pets are welcome to stay but please respect the home and clean up after your furry mate. If you have spent the day chasing fish and were lucky enough to catch one, then there is a fish filleting bench which makes cleaning the fish so much easier. The section has plenty of room to park the boat and cars and has a gate, so it feels quite secure. The bach is close to the beach and about a 20-minute walk to town, so not far to go for a lazy lunch or a spot of shopping.
Whitianga is a popular holiday destination located on the Coromandel Peninsula. It is the gateway to some amazing beaches and scenery. Wandering the shops is a good start and if you get a bit peckish head to one of many delightful eateries whether it's a pie and doughnut, or a sit-down lunch with a cold beverage. There are plenty of options. There is plenty to do for the kids as well with mini golf, movies, an awesome skatepark and kids' playground, and of course, there is the Mercury Bay Museum. For adults, a trip to the Lost Springs Thermal Spa and Hot Pools is a great way to spend a couple of hours relaxing in tropical surroundings. If you make your way to the wharf, you can catch the passenger ferry to Ferry Landing & take a walk over to Front Beach. Tour boats also leave from the wharf which can show you around the area and stop close to Cathedral Cove within the Marine Reserve, and watch the fish, go for a snorkel, or take a cave tour. If fishing is your idea of a good time, there are plenty of Charters that can take you out. Or you could take a drive out to Hahei or Hot Water Beach.
