The gourmet kitchen keeps the chef of your group happy with the convenience of an open-concept layout that features breakfast bar seating, ample countertops with a gas range, and plenty of room in the pantry for your supplies. Catch up on your rest with your choice of five bedrooms, including an upper-level suite with a dreamy sitting area decked out for parents traveling with young children. Retire to the sumptuous primary bedroom suite and let the jetted ease your mind. Important Property Notes
• Please note, that the roads leading to The Highland Cow Retreat have strict speed limitations. Please ensure you drive no more than 10 miles per hour on the approach to the home. We also kindly ask our guests to please abide by a 9:00 p.m. to 8 a.m. noise ordinance as this home is located in a quiet mountain neighborhood. Thank you!
• The fire pit at The Highland Cow Retreat comes equipped with one full propane tank per reservation and should provide approximately 4-9 hours of enjoyment if used moderately, depending on the level set. Guests are welcome to refill the tank for additional burning time.
• Seasonal Gas Fireplaces are not operational between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Additionally, Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the wood-burning amenities, please purchase wood locally upon arrival.
• Travel Insurance Recommended
During the winter months, we ask you to please consider CSA Travel Insurance to protect your vacation investment from potential winter weather events that could prevent access to the home.



Each reservation staying 29 days or less includes our exclusive Mountain Discovery Pass, which includes one Biltmore Estate pass, in addition to a ticket for other seasonal attractions that are sure to delight and entertain!
