The Neighborhood:
Boat Harbour is a picturesque peninsula jutting out from the southern shores of Port Stephens. This serene neighbourhood is known for having the most stunning sunsets, gorgeous waterways, and calm swimming beaches on offer. With plenty of delicious dining options and access to the surrounding Port Stephens area, Boat Harbour is an excellent location for some R&R amongst gorgeous vistas.

Head to Nelson Bay for a day of fun. As the largest town in the Port Stephens region, Nelson Bay is a vibrant and lively seaside escape for families and tourists alike. With plenty of fun activities and experiences on offer, including dolphin watching cruises departing from the Marina all year-round and whale watching cruises from May to November. Cycling the Bartlett bikeway is a fantastic way to explore the stunning waterfront, stretching for 5 kilometres and finishing up near the heritage-listed Nelson Head lighthouse, built in 1875. Just a 2.5-hour drive north from Sydney and 34 kilometres from Newcastle Airport, Boat Harbour is an absolute must-do when it comes to seaside escapes.

For some stunning views, make sure you visit Anna Bay, which also rests within the Port Stephens region. In the heart of Anna Bay, you’ll find Birubi beach which boasts a stunning expanse of sand and sea to explore; go swimming, dip your toes in the sea, or forage for sea glass, this beach is full of wonders. Birubi Beach acts as an access point to the Worimi Conservation Lands for those with 4-wheel drive vehicles with a WCL beach vehicle permit. This permit can be acquired from several locations, with more information available on the official Worimi Conservation Lands website.

If the water isn’t your speed, not to worry as there’s plenty of other experiences to enjoy nearby. The nearby Irukandji aquarium is an interactive and unique marine conservation where guests can experience sharks, sting rays, and a variety of other sea creatures in their natural habitat and can even hop in the water with them. Oakfield Ranch also offers unique experiences with animals, offering camel-riding tours across the largest dunes in the southern hemisphere. A family-owned business offers some adrenaline-inducing 4WD tours in which you get to explore the history of the local Aboriginal Worimi peoples and take part in sandboarding.

Getting Around:
There is free undercover parking on the premises for 2 cars, with additional free parking on the street. For an easy and enjoyable stay, it is recommended that guests have access to a car.

Pool/Spa - The pool and spa is a shared pool within the complex. This villa is located near the pool.

Private Hot Tub - The hot tub on the balcony is bath style tub. Water must be filled and drained after each use.

Fireplace - Will not be operable by guests.

Umbrella - on the balcony is locked and guests will not have access to utilize this.

No parking for Boats, Jet-skis or trailers and or any other vehicle other then a motorbike or car. This is a body corporate by-law and will not be tolerated.

Balcony - Everyone must be inside and off the balconies after 10.30pm. Body Corporate by-law.

Safety: The apartment contains a balcony with a reasonably height difference from the ground level.

Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single-use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, soap, laundry, and dishwashing supplies. For extended stays, please bring extra provisions.

Noise Policy: We always follow strict noise regulations and ask you to be respectful and considerate. Strictly no parties or gatherings are to be held in this property. Any breach of these regulations may result in eviction without a refund of the remaining funds or deposit.

Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups of travellers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved.

1. The Stayz check-in system requires sensitive personal information (passport) but they would not tell me what security they maintain over this data, and whether it would be deleted once the booking was completed. 2. The online photos show a large umbrella on the deck but does not say that the umbrella is locked by the owner and not available for use. This could make the deck unusable on hot summer days. 3. The security system to enter the property involves a gate and 2 roller doors that require press-button controllers - quite a hassle! 4. The entry to the complex is poorly graded and can scrape the car underneath unless you veer sharply to one side (the side the gate opens from). 5. On the deck there is paving under the table and some stepping stones but the rest is covered with coarse granite stones which are sharp and impossible to walk on in bare feet. 6. The carpets are dirty and require cleaning or replacement. 7. Apart from these issues, the unit itself is spacious, well-equipped, and has fantastic views.
