Spotless, everything was super clean and well maintained. The property is well appointed and very comfortable to function in. Location wise it is the best property we’ve ever stayed in. Having the property management was surprisingly helpful and they answered questions via text with ease. Such a nice property, we highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay. House was immaculate and I am very particular about cleanliness. I usually put a towel on top of the pillow before I put my head down (yes I know totally crazy), but did not need to do that here. The back deck is phenomenal. The proximity to Herring Brook pond made it possible for me to rent a paddle board for our stay and carry it to the beach every day. The pond is pure heaven.

This house was great for our annual Cape trip. My husband and I, my son, his wife and our two young grandsons had a wonderful week. The little boys loved running in the yard, we all enjoyed the open concept kitchen, dining and living space as well as the large deck. The quick walk to the pond and easy driving to multiple beaches made this a great location as well.

The agency was not familiar with the rental. There was a broken table umbrella on the deck, and the deck had splintered wood and raised board causing a tripping hazard. I asked about beach equipment at the house...they did not know and stated they "could not guarantee availability". I asked about a coffee maker so I could grocery shop early and I was told there was only a drip pot, when in fact there was also a Keurig. The house was beat up: screens pushed out of the sliding doors, kitchen cabinets peeling, teflon pans in terrible condition, noisy window AC unit in the bedroom with gaps around it in the window, and carpet, furniture, and bedding was dingy and dated and stained. Access to the recreational room and the garage is from the outside only...you cannot access from the main house. There is only 1 small bathroom for all of the beds (including the two beds in the finished basement with no privacy). This particular bathroom has a water pressure issue and when the shower is on there is a high pitched whine in the pipes, and you have to hold the toilet handle down for an extended period of time to get a proper flush. The other bathroom is off of the kitchen on the highest floor. There were a fair number of bugs throughout the house. I live in Florida ( the US bug state!) and I don't have the problem this house did. You would think they would inspect the property between rentals, and they do not. To their credit, after I asked numerous times, they brought me some beach chairs and a new umbrella. I did not care for the fact that only bed sheets were washed, not the mattress pads. And given the current situation with Covid, pillows should have washed pillow covers in addition to washed pillow cases. The nearby pond is not easy to get to. You have to cross and walk along a busy highway with no shoulder and blind curves. I do not recommend it for children. Otherwise the location is good for getting around, and delivery of groceries and take-out was convenient. All-in-all, I would not stay here again.

There were so many great things about this property!
THE COMPANY/OWNER: was extremely responsive to emails, and went above and beyond to help my mother in law (who traveled with me) with an issue. They also were extremely generous with the pet fee, and granted us a late checkout.
THE LOCATION: my family and I remarked several times on how perfect a location this was. It’s a one minute walk to a beautiful small pond and my 3 year old loved swimming there. It’s also about a 3 minute drive to First Encounter beach which was great to watch the sunset! Highly recommend checking it out there! It’s also a 5-10 minute drive to several other beaches, shops, ice cream places and restaurants!
THE HOUSE: perfect for a large group! The “upside down” floor plan was very convenient and all bedrooms were generously sized with big closets. The upstairs living area was so open and allowed everyone to socialize together. Lots of places to sit and hang out. We all loved the massive amount of deck space and spent a lot of time out there. The outdoor shower was spacious and was such a treat. It’s well equipped with linens and towels included, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, glassware, silverware and everything else we needed (ex: toaster, coffee maker, cutting boards etc).
Overall, we had a wonderful time and this was the perfect place for us! Since I was the one who “found it” online and booked, my family kept thanking me for finding such a great place! We have already discussed hopefully renting this property again next year!

Nice house in a good location. I didn't like having to go up steep stairs to the second floor living area and having the bedrooms on the first floor.

Great house close to lots of activities
My family and I had a great week at this house! It was perfect for hanging out together on the spacious deck and around the table for dinners. We loved walking to the beach, taking short trips to Wellfleet and Orleans, and using the bike path! Even a bit of rain didn't keep us from enjoying the area. Would definitely recommend this house and hope to return again!!

This was a perfect spot for us, a walk across the street from the pond, a short jaunt to bike path, a short ride to first encounter beach and easy access to the grocery store.
I wasn’t sure how I would feel about vacationing during COVID 19 but it went smoothly. The house was clean plus I did another once over when I arrived since my mother was with us. The restaurants were easy to manage with pick up curbside or outside al fresco dining. At the beach, people kept their distance and used masks to move around. Even the drive-in has managed to accommodate for COVID. So felt as safe as being in my own home.
The house was well appointed for us. We liked the upside down set up with bedrooms on the first floor and the kitchen/living room on the second floor. The first floor den off the entrance was a great spot to sit and there was a piano too. Also, there was a game room above the garage, which I didn’t realize from the write up, which was a fun spot for the kids to hang out. My only suggestion was that, as a family who likes to cook, while the kitchen was well appointed with all the tools we would need, the pots and pans have been overused by renters (maybe put through the dishwasher). Might be time for a refresh on that. It was peaceful and relaxing and quiet. It was well equipped with huge TV for movies and relaxing. The outside shower was fabulous and the multiple decks were great hang out spots. We would return for a future peaceful vacation.

Lovely long weekend in late June
We loved the pocket views of the marsh. Owners were flexible and responsive. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen pans were a bit older and limited, but outdoor propane grill was new, clean, large.

Loved this house!
The house is spacious and cheery with great light and energy for a family to hang together, or spread out and have their own space. Bedrooms are cute and decor is up to date. There was even a keyboard where my son could keep up a bit with piano practice much to my surprise and his chagrin! 😀and a nice book collection too. You can glimpse the marsh waters and see the colors of the sunsets as well as watch the birds from the porch. ( We saw several hawks and even a bluebird). There’s a beautiful pond kitty corner across the street, and the beaches are a very short drive away. Drive to the beach to catch the amazing sunsets in full view! There’s also another giant pond a short drive away with swimming and a great nature walk. ( called Great Pond/Wiley Park.) We also did the walk at Fort Hill which goes along the ocean-beautiful (and easy too for kids.)
The kitchen is spacious and has all the equipment you need and the tv is big enough to watch movies together in the evening. Management was friendly and accommodating with any questions we had. Loved the house!

Late summer at the cape
Comfortable house. Lived the outside shower. Close to Herring Pond and the bayside beaches We really enjoyed our stay.
4.8
Access to the pond across the street made fur delightful afternoons floating on the water.
Rooms were comfortable and outdoor deck delightful. House is updated, spacious and clean. Would stay again!

Quiet spot in Eastham
The house was very roomy with plenty of sleeping options and areas to relax.
The kitchen is well appointed and should accommodate most cooks needs.
I would bring my stand gas burner for cooking lobsters as keeping the heat up on the electric kitchen range was tough, other than that it was fine. (I'm a gas stove snob!)
We did have a couple minor issues coming in, downstairs bathroom needed a cleaning touch up and the cable wasn't connected to the TV/Internet. Both were handled by the property management company IMMEDIATELY!
Location is easy access to the beach (1 mile to the entry booth at First Encounter Beach. A very short walk to Herring Pond beach. Eastham Superette is about a mile and a half away and Stop and Shop in Orleans is a quick ten minute drive.

Best Cape Week Ever
This house was perfect in every way! The pond across the street was just an added bonus. Large bedrooms, three decks, huge outdoor shower, two grills, private yard, friendly neighbors, clean/updated kitchen/bathrooms and AC in every room! We absolutely loved the convenient location to our favorite beaches and the bike trail. The management company, Del Mar Vacations, was extremely attentive and made our stay and check in/out a simple and seamless process. I would definitely stay here and use Del Mar next year!

Highly recommend!

Great stay
This was a beautiful home we stayed at with our family for a wedding in the area. The house was very clean and the hosts were lovely. But unfortunately, check out was 9am. For a group with children to pack up, load up and be out by 9am was not easy. This made the last bit of our stay not as enjoyable as we would have liked. If we had noticed the early check out time we may have asked for an extension, but unfortunately we didn't realize until it was too late.
