Everything. Paal 8 Hotel aan Zee is a " must go". Best location in Terschelling.
Just a minor comment: swimming pool a bit small.

Very clean, friendly, great location, great food
Pool was more for kids enjoyment than adults. As adults without kids it’s nice to have separate kid & adult wellness areas.

Great staff, excellent service

This was a dream stay. The room was so spacious and since I had taken the love package, we received Bubbles & the bed was decorated. Although we both would have liked the bed to be decorated with real flowers instead of artificial but I also understand the decision behind it.
We loved the balcony and the beach view it had provided. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We also appreciated the options for renting bike directly from the Hotel.
The options at breakfast could have been more with a little more variety but it was still good for the options that were served.

What I loved was the fact that my dog was welcome. Other than that the location, food and staff were great!

Location is amazing, in the dunes and just a couple of minutes from the beach. The room (large family suite) was very spacious. The decor is not the most modern, but everything was clean and comfortable. Nice that I could bring my dog with me (for an extra fee). The mini kitchenette was really handy (sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery & crockery).
The room was very hot (outdoor temperatures were reaching ~25C during the day) and there was no aircon. At night time we could open the balcony doors and this helped to keep things cool during the night, but then you are exposed to noises and cigarette smoke from other guests. The TV had very few channels to choose from (as an english speaker... no BBC1 or BBC2, no TLC, no National Geographic, etc etc... which are usually standard). The staff in the restaurant were extremely unfriendly and the food was at best mediocre - healthy but lacking flavour. Sometimes there was dog pee in the lift. Toiletries could be improved - would really like a liquid soap in the toilet and bathroom for hand washing - for hygiene reasons I don't want to share a bar of soap with others.

Amazing location in beautiful nature.
A spa or massage service would be great to have. There is only an independent lady that can come to give a massage but had already been booked for all the days we stayed.

The outlet in the bathroom did not supply enough voltage to run a hair dryer or curling iron. No other place with a mirror in the room for a lady to do her hair.
Americans like ice in their drinks, so a small ice machine in a common area would work. That will keep guests from bothering the bar person for ice.

very spacious room with a beautiful view on the dunes and sea. With an evening sun on our terrace. Breakfast was good and we also had dinner in the restaurant which was also of good quality. The location next to the dunes and sea is magnificent and excellent for a morning run.
no negative things to mention
