The location was good and the pool is good if it's clean
The add shows you that there is parking for 1 car per unit but it's first come first serve but unless you look right at the bottom of the terms and conditions you don't know that

The location
The room wasn’t what was advertised. There was nowhere to park. Rooms were loud and could hear neighbours.

Beautiful pool! Good location- close to bus and light rail, plus a short walk to central Surfers Paradise.
There was not enough hanging space to dry towels. Perhaps another towel rack or free standing towel rack would make it much better.

Location was excellent & staff very helpful!
Nothing!

The room that they allocated to us was very big and clean - seemed like they freshened the place up.
Not much really / just parking there could be a hassle but the hotel do what they can to accomodate.

Hôtel bien situé, confortable et très bien équipé.
Parking trop petit car souvent plein.
Chambre côté rue : bruyant jour et nuit.
et manque d'insonorisation avec les chambres voisines.

Close to everything but on nice quiet street. Close to tram stop. The restaurant in the lobby looks great although didn’t get to try, pool area looks inviting and comfortable. Our room was very spacious and comfortable
First in first serve parking. Would have been nice to have secure parking guaranteed or the option to pay for one.. however lots of street parking on said quiet street

We got a parking ticket cause you don't have enough parking for your guests and we are pensioners so not happy

Nothing
Really disappointed with parking, you couldn’t get a park under the hotel, you couldn’t park on the street and we had to park at the end of the street and around the corner and walk! Yes you do advertise limited parking but that was just ridiculous! Also don’t understand why you take a $200 pre auth when there is no mini bar, and nothing to charge back to your room. Reception not manned after hours and no courtesy phone for taxis, you really provide a room and no customer service at all

Lovely big room with modern, nice looking furniture. We were very pleasantly surprised with the size, style and facilities in the room. Good value for money. Loved the addition of a single bed in the main living area. So much better than a fold out sofa and more comfortable for the 3rd guest.
The only thing I could really fault were the pillows. They were so hard and horrible and actually gave me a terrible headache. All the pillows in the room were the same so I couldn't swap it for a better one. The bed itself was very comfortable though. The jets in the Spa for the hotel were also a little weird. They blow straight up, so you just sit there and get water all over your face and head. We preferred not to use them, however if other guests turned them on we either had to position ourselves to cover the jets, or we got out.

Spacious room, good size balcony, sea was visible from the balcony, rooms was well equipped, good water pressure ans temperature, Beds were comfortable, lifts were quick, pool was large, plenty of sun loungers, hot tub was nice, two rainbow lorikeets visited one morning, beach is only a short walk.
Rooms were a bit dated but reasonable, pillows were too thick for me, there were a few small roaches in the kitchen area, the local area is somewhat lacking restaurants etc.

The room was adequate and in that it was value for money, air con was efficient although only in the lounge room making sleeping a little uncomfortable, although over the 2 days of our stay it did cool down.
The lounge was quite uncomfortable for an evenings TV watching, no Air con in the bedroom

Location was good.
The bed was ultra soft, literally sunk in the middle and made my back and neck sore every morning. The whole room had a really bad smell that we couldn’t get rid of even after airing it out with slider door open and spraying. You have to pay extra for housekeeping. There was no one at reception when we arrived late so I had to check in through the intercom at the front door which would cut out every minute.

Property was a 10 minute walk to Cavill, although we didn’t use them, the hotel had a pool, spa, sauna and small fitness room. Staff were all lovely. Malaysian restaurant downstairs. More affordable option.
I think it’s standard but the rooms looked a lot more clean and updated in the photos, didn’t feel as clean just due to the age of the rooms and appliances. There wasn’t enough parks for all guests which was clearly stated by staff throughout the booking process and check in but still not favourable. I also didn’t enjoy that anyone could walk in the front doors and use the elevator, it would be good to have strict access to the floors and a lock for the inside of the room would be good.

It was facing the back of the main road . I got lost getting there, but other than that, it is in an awesome location.

The location and the potential.
The worst customer service. Wish I could rate the place less than 1 rating. The attitude from the staff from the check to check at the front desk was horrible. The facilities like spa etc were not even working and when discussed this with the reception staff, they were the rudest we have ever experienced. When politely asked for the manager , we were told this is a family run business and there is no Manager and reception staff is everything and they do not care as they are busy with other stuff. Absolutely disgusting.

The room itself was so spacious , didn't expect it to be that big , would have loved the bathroom attached to the bedroom.
Sunset was beautiful form the balcony.
Outdoor spa was lovley could have been a bit warmer.
Nothing that stands out.
3.0 / 10.0
The location and price of the hotel were the only positive parts of the experience.
The after hours check in process was entirely an honesty based procedure (all room keys left in the same safe with names and room numbers on them), the room had a stale smell, and there were multiple safety issues (Power point hanging out of the wall, exposed cords hanging from the hallway ceilings, and food on the floor of the elevator). Additionally, the television and wifi that were 'provided' didn't work. The onsite parking is also abysmal, with a single undercover car park, in an awful layout, that holds maybe 20 cars, and all of the street parking is time limited.

Conveniently located near the city centre. Comfortable and clean accommodation with friendly helpful staff.
Not the facilities fault but dining experiences close to the hotel were in short supply, we did find a restaurant within walking distance however!

Just a 2 minute walk to the lightrail
Everything was just fine
