C’est calme et doux et beau et reposant et chic

The hotel is an annexe to a very pleasant hotel. The sight is misleading as our room was up two flight of very steep stairs. It was hot and thd toad noise unpleasant. Breakfast not included in price . When you add the cost of breakfast and take into account the visual misrepresentation it is poor value for money.
The annexe and room / just poor

Great apartment, very confortable, beautifuly decorated and with everything needed in the kitchen.
The property is great with animals and a lot of space.
Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Nothing that can be changed but location is by the road and there is nowhere to go walking. A car is necessary to go to the centre of cancale. Neverthless, it is a convenient stop between Saint Malo and Saint Michel.

Convenient overnight stay for the Cherbourg ferry. Room was comfortable and tastefully furnished.
4.3
Easy to find and convenient parking
The room was very small, but okay comfort wise. The hotel is very much the annexe for the Manoir des Douets Fleuris hotel which is in the same grounds. The Chatelier itself feels like the overflow rooms for the main hotel and all the facilities including the breakfast room are in the Manoir. There are no staff in Le Chatelier, even for checking in, all felt a bit disappointing. Not the cosy b&b we were expecting!
4.3
Convenient for the ferry
Small room, very busy road right outside, no air conditioning, very poor tea/coffee facilities, bathroom shower door broken

The staff was very kind, good and helpful. Breakfast was very nice.
Toilette too close to the bed, shower too low (no place to fix it above head).

This hotel is a gem! It's a huge property with 2 buildings that share the property, reception area, restaurant , pool and hot tub. There is horse property next door with lots of horses and 2 goats. Lots of grassy area for walks and kids to run.
We had a prestige room which had a bedroom and a sitting room. It also had a small terrace with table and 2 chairs. It was decorated very shabby chic and it was very appealing. The sitting room had a sofa, desk and TV on top of a small frig. The bed was very comfy and the shower had good pressure. It was close to Cancale and to a large U supermarket. It was a little hard to find because the reception area is not at the building we stayed in. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of
choices and great coffee. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.
The only problem was the bathroom sink was very slow draining. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Swimming pool, atmosphere, great breakfast
Busy road next to the hotel

Beautiful property set in stunning grounds. The bed was very comfortable and we found a fan to keep us cool during a couple of very hot nights! The swimming pool and sauna are brilliant, as too are the cocktails and wine selection. Super helpful and friendly staff.
We were based in the part of the hotel near the road which was quiet noisy late at night and early morning. An awkwardly placed orange light facing the property shone directly into the room at night might keep others awake (luckily we had eye masks!)

Quiet. Hot drinks and microwave and fridge available in communal area. Great swimming pool and grounds at the grander, sister hotel a short walk away. We didn't try the restaurant there as we chose to dine on the waterfront in Cancale. We made our own breakfast using our picnic plates and cutlery. Short drive to other sites in the area. Supermarket and petrol station nearby. Lovely friendly staff.
All good

Excellent breakfast. Hôtel close to Cancale’s centre but too far to go on foot. Close to main road and a small Industrial estate and Super U. We had our lateral flow test done in superU pharmacy. That was convenient.
The Chatellier is close to road and industrial estate.

Jacuzzi, breakfast, and big parking space are great
I should have the room on 1st floor as per reservation due to my 7 months pregnancy. Unfortunately the hotel called me the day before that my room will be on the 2nd floor as other guest (elderly person) need it but did not mention it during their reservation. Although I am a little bit dissappointed, I appreciated the hotel's communication.

Good place if you are travelling by car.
The wifi was really horrible. Not enough for the price and the quality of the place.

The property was lovely, an old manor house and small hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, rooms clean and the breakfast delicious. We loved everything.
