My husband and I spent a week in Cornrake Cottate with our 3 children. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean, well stocked and cozy with beautiful views to boot! Everyone remarked on how comfortable they found the beds and loved hearing the sheep and cows every now and then in the morning.
Annmarie, the owner, was lovely and communicative throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Fine, but for finding you have to read the findinginstructions very carefully and you must know how to handle the eircode, which is not known in Germany. It would be helpful , when it is not the last point of the common instructions of handling warm water etc.

We were surprised with a very attentive and delicious welcome.
The house has a great location and offers a beautiful view. It is comfortably and stylishly furnished and offers a special atmosphere and is well equipped.
Dunfanaghy is a charming little town and has a lot to offer in the surrounding area.
We would love to come back.

This property is exactly as described. The views are wonderful and we were treated to glorious sunsets. The space is more suitable for a group than a couple and I can imagine families happily gathering here. Beds and bathrooms all comfortable and clean. Annemarie was attentive and responsive to a couple of minor issues (we got lost!) We loved exploring the Dunfanaghy area.

We had a wonderful stay at Corncrake Cottage. The house is stunning and very clean. Communication with Annemarie was great and she messaged us once we were there to check that we were happy. The view is stunning and the cottage is just a few minutes drive from Dunfanaghy. Absolutely nothing to fault and I really hope to be able to stay again.

The cottage is lovely, well-appointed, and the views outstanding!
The reason for a less than brilliant review was our experience with “controlled heating”.
Early December with a chill both outside and unfortunately inside as well! The thermostat is pre-set and locked and the heating never synced appropriately for customer comfort.
This is something one must cover with the owner if traveling “off season”!!

Corncrake Cottage was perfect for housing 6 adults for 4 nights in Dunfanaghy. Very spacious and welcoming. We could walk into the sweet town of Dunfanaghy and there was great hiking on Horn Head and other locations. We highly recommend this lovely cottage.

We fell in love with Corncrake Cottage the moment we arrived! I only hoped it was as gorgeous as it looked from the website photos, and infact, it was better. The cottage is decorated and furnished in a way that makes you feel so relaxed and at home and the views from almost every window are breathtaking. The lovely touches such as the bottle of wine, wood for the fire, binoculars, excellent sound system, blue-ray player and discs, all made for a perfect stay. I really can't recommend Corncrake Cottage enough and only hope it's not too long before we get to stay there again. 10/10!!!

I spent a week in this wonderful cottage near Dunfanaghy with my wife and another couple. The house is furnished excellently and creates an atmosphere which makes you feel at home immediately. When we arrived we found a fridge full of everything we needed for our breakfast and two bottles of very good wine and everything was complimentary. The view from the house is breathtaking and I caught myself several times standing at one of the windows and looking at the scenery. The nearest pub, the village and supermarket are only two km away. In addition to this realy comfortable cottage the area around Dunfanaghy is one of the nicest places on earth for me but I have to admit that Ireland is one of my favourite holiday destinations. I can really recommend this place to everybody who looks for an extraordinary accomodation in an absolutely unique area. Apart from all that Annemarie is so helpful with anything you need.
Thank you for the wonderful time we could spend in your cottage.
