Everything. Walking distance to everything and the town was very quaint. The house was amazing and so full of character combining both modern comforts with vintage pieces. Parking was great. Very comfortable furniture and beds were very warm. An absolute credit to the team who manage this property

Beautiful house. Amazing decoration, pictures, artefacts, furniture.
Great location.
We felt a tea and coffee basket may make it a bit more welcoming.
So too in the bathroom. Little guest soaps.

The house was so central: walking distance to everything in Queenscliff. The off-street parking was appreciated. The house was characterful & the huge living area was lovely.
The adjoining laneway was noisy from early in the morning with delivery trucks, demolition works & rubbish skip emptying.

Paul was very welcoming. The accommodation was charming and overall comfortable. The location was perfect. The living room and dining room was very open and spacious.
This is not a criticism but there was a strong dog odour mostly from the carpet of the main bedroom.

Love that the property is within walking distance to the shops, parks, ferry and the beach.
The accommodation was beautiful with a lovely decked area and the owner was very helpful.

Fantastic location just off the main street. Lovely old cottage with great character and plenty of space. Very efficient heater, comfortable beds and very clean condition.
Access to Netflix would be a plus, especially for family holidays. Some new DVD's would also be good.

Perfect location as it's in very close walking distance to shops, cafes/restaurants, pubs, ferry terminal for a day trip to Sorrento, beach, parks, galleries etc. Paul is friendly, helpful & gave us detailed information about the house, it's facilities & the area in general. Off street parking was great as we parked our 2 cars away for the whole time we were there. There is also ample street parking for bigger groups. The heating in the main area of the house works a treat as the nights are cooling down. My bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. Loved it all & definitely recommend. Thank you! Kind regards, Michelle.

We were greeted by Paul with keys who made us feel at home. The house was full of character and charm with modern kitchen and bathroom. It was quiet and peaceful and perfect in every way. Beds were very comfortable . The heating was excellent for the couple of cold evenings. Abaleen is few steps from main street and plenty of cafes and eateries. Would highly recommend Abaleen - will definitely return. Could not have asked for better place to stay.

the house was very centrally located with easy walking distance to most things. The beds were warm and comfortable and facilities were great.
The shampoo and conditioner bottles had been opened and were half empty. The bathroom was a little dark, particularly for women wanting to apply make-up. However, overall we loved it.

Love the location, all the quirky antiques, the cosy gas heater
Mattress bit too soft, had to stand on a chair to reach items in top kitchen cupboards

The original cottage was warm and comfortable, very roomy with lots of mod cons.
Position was excellent, right on the edge of the most beautiful little town. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
There was really nothing we didn't like

Fantastic location just off the Main Street. Great walks for young and old without needing the car. Coffee shops and other shopping just meters away. Beautiful three bedroom cottage with loads of space and history. Paul the owner was fantastic. He met us at the cottage and we have a lovely chat and not that we needed him for anything but he is a local and only 5 minutes away. The photos in Bookings.com are accurate. One of the neatest, cleanest town I have seen and very quiet (and safe) of a night.
