Location is great being near the town. And the hotel was very clean and friendly.
3.5
Very clean, great staff.
AC stuck on 27C.
No Kleenex hankies, no hair conditioner, no facecloths.
3.0
Quiet room
Matresses very soft an not new. But acceptable if you sleep in the middle of the double bed.
2.0
Nothing special
The bed, the change in price with no prior notice, the uncomfortable bed, the unclean bathtub

Breakfast excellent and good dinner menu.Large very clean comfortable room.
Very friendly and helpful staff. This is my hotel on my next visit to St, Helens.
Had trouble with the heating and had to change rooms
4.0
The politeness of all the staff from different areas was the most memorable, the room, 306, privilege, was just as it should be, comfortable in all aspects, pleasantly warm all night, there was a wedding event also on but the noise was unobtrusive, the late night pizza ordered was delivered promptly to the room and was just right after a night out.
1. Upon arriving back to the hotel after 10.30pm the lift didn't seem to be operational with a warning symbol displayed onscreen, so climbing 6 flights of stairs arrived at the room, an unplanned workout!!
2. The shower water temperature fluctuated between pleasantly warm to max heat constantly, the water pressure for a third floor room was not the issue, plenty of water.
3. The shower head and frame seemed to be budget compared to the rest of the room fittings
4. The breakfast arrangements were self service, the selections were sufficient but because a coach party was also dining it was chaotic to get what you desired

Near to town centre

Room had everything needed. Large comfortable bed.
Very clean
Evening meal was awful. No staff available as dealing with a wedding.
Room service staff on phone rude and order refused as too busy dealing with another wedding on our second day.
4.5
It was in a very good area with plenty of facilities around within a few minutes walk away
It was all good

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and listened to what I had to say when explaining a situation to them. I felt they were responsive and keen to resolve the situation to prevent a reoccurrence
The fact I was advised a note would be in my account which hadn’t occurred

The quality of the ingredients was very average and the breakfast was not good value for money.
Sausages looked very unappetising - so, I didn't have any.
Fried eggs were swimming in grease.

The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel room was pretty good.
4.5
The beds are comfy. The town center is a stone's throw away and adjacent to shops like The Range. We enjoyed the free access to the pool and sauna facilities with free use of towels. The full english breakfast, choices of pastries and cold and hot drinks satisfied our palates. The staff are pleasant and helpful.
I did not like the idea that the soundproofing is not that great. A creaking door in the room next to us awakened me and as a light sleeper it took time for me to nod myself to sleep again.

The room was clean, nice. Great pool, sauna.
Didn't like the attitude of the employees. The breakfast price does not correspond to the booking amount.

good decor, staff were friendly
bedding dirty, black marks on it. found dirty sock on my floor
4.5
The bed is always comfortable.
The breakfast could be improved by having more than 1 coffee machine as it is very slow.
1.5
The location is great
The second time I stayed here I was placed in a disabled room. I requested a room change due to a couple of reasons. The staff were polite however the duty manager KD was shockingly different. Instead of dealing with my queries with empathy and a helpful manor he was determined to rubbish my concerns. I found him arrogant and unhelpful. He could certainly use some further training when it comes to handling customer queries to which he referred to as a complaint. Unfortunately if I were to make a complaint it would only be in reference to his behavior.
2.5
Easy to get to and is safe and clean
Original room smelled of tobacco smoke!!! No telephones in the room so had to use my mobile to get through to reception!!! I was given another room but was a mad rush due to timescales.
Breakfast was definitely not as good as my last stay.
