RIEN DU TOUT.

Par où commencer … c’est une note de -10 qu’il faudrait mettre. Le logement est tout simplement insalubre. Pas de chauffage. Pas de ménage. Des poils humains et des cheveux partout dans le lit, ainsi que des taches. Les draps n’ont clairement pas été changés. Deux mails envoyés avec des preuves, sans réponse. Le locataire envoie un mail en demandant de laisser 4,89€ en espèces sur la table en partant, sûrement pour se faire de l’argent en plus. Alors qu’on reçoit à la confirmation un autre mail stipulant que la réservation est bien validée et que nous n’avons rien de plus à payer. C’est une honte que booking garde ça à la location sur leur plateforme. Je n’utiliserai plus jamais booking. Je ne recommande pas du tout ce logement. Escroquerie. Je ne suis même pas restée une seule nuit, j’ai dû chercher un hôtel à 00h en arrivant.

La stanza che abbiamo trovato non era quella delle foto che ho prenotato. L'annuncio diceva "fronte mare", ma dalla finestra vedevamo il retro delle case. Il mare è vicino, ma non frontale. Avevo prenotato una camera che dalle foto aveva un frigo grande, più spazio, due comodini e le abat-jour, mentre ci siamo ritrovati una stanza molto piccola, con cucina minuscola, un solo comodino e nessuna luce vicino al letto, per andare a dormire dovevamo usare le torce del telefono.

La chambre ne correspond pas du tout aux photos du site. RDC très sombre. Porte salle de bain ne ferme pas Prévoir de changer la cafetière qui fuit et une notice pour utiliser le système de chauffage / climatisation

I don’t think I’m ever staying there again

The only good thing about the room is the location, is right on the beach. Cagnes su Mer is a lovely area 15 minutes away from nice filled withe restaurants and nice cafes

First of all the host is rude. Second of all the room description said that he had views to the sea, but my room was on the ground floor, and he didn’t have any views until my views wear to a wall. That’s not even the worst part my room didn’t have a closet or a place where I could put all my clothes literally; and sleep was impossible. I literally had to sleep with headphones on because the main pipe runs through the room so whenever someone is showering on the floors upstairs, you can hear the water running through the pipe as if you were in the bathroom with them.

The information provided by the owner on Booking.com about free parking is incorrect. Information about parking restrictions is provided on paper ONLY in French, taped to a temporary pole that was knocked down upon arrival and we did not see these restrictions. The police towed the car, which cost us a lot. Access to the room is difficult because the front door often gets stuck.

Very nice apartment at the beach

The 1 room apartment was very nice. It was top clean, including all dishes. This concerned us a bit before booking because we had read that the dishes had been rather dirty once or twice. But maybe this had happened before that the hosts missed that guests left things like pigs.. It happens. Everything was perfectly clean when we arrived. The bed is comfortable. The fridge not too loud. And the bar and enjoyments in front of the house are silent after midnight. The windows keep the sounds quiet too. What's absolutely fantastic is the close proximity to the beach (1-2 min)!!! The beach is stony as in Nice, so swimming shoes are recommended. Tipp: Visit Antibes for a sandy beach day! Walk from the train station Cros de Cagnes less than 10 min. Bus station to Nice, Cannes, Grasse and Antibes 5 min. Velo bleu rental 1 min. Supermarket, bakery, etc very close.

Room was clean. Great location. Even it had a parking just in front of the door.

Room assigned on ground floor during a carnival period. It was very noisy till night. Room size was a bit below expected. No basic facilities like iron. Room lock keys were tricky. Host not responded to messages due to which giving a point less .

Fake pictures, not hot water, no heating, very dirty

The fake pictures in the Booking advert, making you think you're going to a different place (spoiler alert, you end up in a much worse rat house)

HOT WATER DOESN'T WORK, so we had really cold showers every day. If it was summer, fair enough but it's not, and it's a basic requirement for an apartment to have. We contacted the owner and didn't help at all, he kept saying that the hot water worked, but he couldn't know, he never came to fix it or visit the apartment, he was extremely unhelpful and frustrating to talk to. On top of that, the place was really dirty (see pictures) even the bed sheets were dirty, and the pictures in the advert did not correspond with the real apartment. Overall pretty bad experience with this apartment as we had to spend part of our holidays dealing with the issue; calling the owner and Booking and neither would help.

We would look elsewhere next time

The apartment was clean and has recently been renovated. The location is excellent being close to the centre, the beach and the train station.

It is too small - you can literally sit on the edge of the bed, take food from the fridge and put it in the microwave without moving ! The sink in the bathroom is unusable other than to wash your hands. The kitchen is not at all well equipped - No toaster No kettle No dishes or bowls No tin opener No wooden spoon No scissors The towel rail in the bathroom does not work either. We were also confused as we had paid Booking.com the invoice which included city tax but we were then asked to leave further cash on the table when we left ?
