We had a lovely corner room with lots of light and a great view. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was decent enough.

The free Internet service was very slow. We couldn’t connect via our iPhones, only with our laptop. And the Internet wasn’t strong enough to stream content. There is an option to pay for upgraded Internet, but in this day and age it’s a bit unacceptable for a hotel not to provide high speed Internet to guests.

Enjoyed my stay before start of Rocky Mountaineer.

Nice clean and spacious rooms. Good linens, friendly staff.

Breakfast was very basic and they closed the doors right on 10am. It’s a bit out of the city centre.

We had been before and it was a good stay just as last time, however we were only there for one nite

Always like breakfast option, lots to choose from and convenient to have it there before moving on with our travels or plans. I like the location and its proximity to venues such as Roger’s arena and shops

I dislike the dark “wood” floors in the room, they have a texture or space between the boards that is hard on the feet. The price was pretty steep, however almost every place is expensive now.

Good location, oversized King Suite with separate diner/kitchen, excellent complimentary breakfast

Particularly liked the size and space of King Suite as had a large bedroom and a separate kitchen diner with pull out full double bed - perfect for 3 adults and no overcrowding!

Started on a negative note but ended well.

Very clean and d perfect location

Most of the staff were wonderful but we encountered one in particular at the front desk who was quite rude and not willing to assist or accommodate. We were traveling with children with anxiety issues and wanted to be on a lower floor and access the stairs to make their stay comfortable. It was a simple request that she was totally unwilling to help with. We ended up having to get the manager involved. It was unnecessary and frustrating.

the location was probably the only positive about this hotel.

Firstly, no vaccine records were checked… for the breakfast it was opened for anyone without masks and cleaning was non-existent so good luck being a “super-spreader” needless to say ministry of health will be notified about this. The front desk is almost in an alley

What you would expect from a 3 star hotel.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and large. The location was good- close enough to walk to almost everything. Breakfast was adequate and had a decent variety of items.

The location was mint, everything was clean and very much enjoyed my stay. Will be back soon!

I really loved the location as it was right beside the arena even though the concert was postponed. Their was plenty of restaurants to choose from which was a bonus. The hotel itself was beautiful, the main lobby was comforting and welcoming. Definitely gonna be back soon!

Enjoyable convenient stay in downtown Vancouver.

Breakfast is a great bargain. My recommendation is:Have more dark roast coffee available. Location is superb. The rooms have a little age on them but seem in good repair.

Rooms could be made up quicker, one occasion coffee pot was not rinsed out. Towels were not replaced but overall everything was fine.

Negatives - breakfast area very small, get there early or wait for ages for a table. Rooms small.
