The location was great
The pool, gym and spa area were "under construction " it was neither clean or warm. Our suite bathroom was not hotel clean!
4.5
Location and friendly staff
Furnishing looked tired
4.0
Big room, upgraded on checkin, fabulous bed
Very busy checkin and only 2 staff. Business centre was freezing. But otherwise a lovely hotel
2.5
Had someone steal my backpack, chased them down and retrieved it. Hotel staff were not too concerned
5.0
Gold lounge - very appreciative!
5.0
Elegant property, attentive staff in a great location
4.0
Great location and superbly elegant hotel
We had a room with a connecting door and a very loud family on the other side. It ruined our stay. Child’s unchecked crying in the middle of the night and dawn waking…. Generally the soundproofing is bad as we also heard people in the hallway
4.5
upgraded at hotel to Gold Level - better room and lounge access - highly recommended
swimming pool was a bit tired, and appeared to be astroturf in what I assume was once a hot-tub
2.5
I like the location , it was great. I also loved the cleaniness of the hotel.
I asked for tooth paste and they told me they can't give me tooth paste which is ridicilous because for a such luxury hotel not providing tooth paste is unacceptable. There are better hotels in downtown which give their clients tooth paste and dont turn down their clients for tooth paste.
P.S: I know for sure they had it because the previous day they gave us one piece for each guest but that is not enough as we were staying for 4 days!
2.5
I just don't understand why the parking is not free for guests... and the parking rate is expensive.

The check in experience was excellent and our requirements were met without any issue.
Bit sorry there wasn't a spa pool as suggested on the internet.
4.5
Fancy gold room on the corner. Love the lobby the executive lounge and the old elevator

Beds very comfortable. Beautiful toiletries. Lorenzo very helpful upon checkin.
Initially we could hear the traffic on the 11th floor.
4.5
It’s large and luxurious and a great location. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, we had views of the Art Gallery and the big Christmas tree. The Kringle pop up bar was a great festive touch.
3.5
The hotel is nice, but not as upscale as other Fairmont locations. We were there at Christmas so the lobby was festive and the restaurant and tea room were beautifully decorated. The beds in the room were very comfortable and the location is central and within walking distance to just about everything downtown.
I felt this Fairmont wasn't worth the price. We usually love Fairmonts but probably wouldn't return to this one. The A/C or heat in our room didn't work (luckily the window opened), and neither did the TV remote. Not a huge deal, but the bathroom was also very small. It was a fine room but definitely not worth it for the price.
4.5
Very classic hotel. The hallway and the room were good size. The location of hotel was great. Very central to everything.
The mattress on the bed was tilted and uncomfortable. The bathroom was small.
4.5
Location was excellent; the building has a lot of character. The restaurant has wonderful ambiance and we had great 3 course evening meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Breakfast- bacon & eggs wasn’t that great.

Food you need to order atleast a day before, if you dont do that it will be a good 1-2 hours wait time for brekafast.

Very elegant, spacious room with nice design, super comfortable bed
The temperature would not go higher than 20.5 degrees celsius even with the heating in

Location.
Rooms require maintenance, staff isn’t as friendly as I would have expected.

This property is incredible! A gorgeous historic castle within walking distance to shops, events and 5 star food-eries. Completely updated with no details missed. Spotless too. We felt well cared for by all the staff.
Not one thing.

Location
Staff was new or a trainee , had booked a room with King Bed BUT got a room with twin bed , after a 36 hour flight it was 11:30 pm , didn’t have the energy to come down to the reception for a room change.
I am a member of Accor Life Limitless ( Accor Club ) the guy could not find it even after showing him the welcome message of membership.
4.5
Quiet room with good facilities including power points to plug in my CPAP matching.
Front office staff very helpful in sorting out the duplicate booking after Booking.com did not respond effectively to my travel agent to cancel the duplicate reservation within the required period and while we were out of contact via email. My travel agent had my authority to act for me
Thought the in house restaurant was expensive for its offerring
