Great view. Clean and comfortable room.
Parking lot looked a bit shady.

pet friendly, close to our venue
rude security! horrible complimentary breakfast.

great river valley view
in house eating facilities were expensive

Had a great view facing south of the Muttart Conservatory and the river. Guest Services was quick to re-up our basic needs (coffee, tp and towels). All around the cleanliness of the rooms was great. And appreciated indigenous brand of soap, shampoo and lotion available.
My only peeve was the different types of televisions in our rooms 1603 and 1604. One was a basic phillips 32" lcd tv with wifi and the other was a more modern 32" roku. Previous quests netflix and amazon prime accounts were signed in and there was no local channels to catch the news and weather. Would have been nice to just turn on and have a local station available.

The beds were very comfortable. The lobby is beautiful and I love the history you have preserved. The hot water took awhile to get to the tub and he actual fixture was older so took me awhile to figure it out but ok. We wanted room service and there is a button on the phone that says room service but when I called down, they said since Covid there is no room service. The room phone was very old so still had the button.
None should probably be replaced. I really have no complaints. It’s decent calve for the cost. I e booked here at least three times and will book again.

Parking was in a sketchy underground parkade

It’s located within walking distance of everything downtown. The lobby is beautiful
Once you get to your room. The room is outdated and dark. Our tv didn’t work at all. The sent someone to check it at 1:30 am. When we were checking out. They discounted us for our parking

-Flexible check-in time and booking was very easy. We actually had a big issue with our original Airbnb and had to scramble to find accommodations, so we were very fortunate that Chateau Lacombe were able to have us on such short notice at that time of night.
-Staff were friendly
-Beautiful view
-Very responsive to issues and resolving problems
-Check-out time was later than most hotels, inns, and Airbnbs
-Very comfortable
- Most places offer complimentary breakfast, so that would have been nice, as well as free parking.
- Fitness room had decent equipment; however, the weight on the cable machines didn't label how much weight each bar was, so I couldn't determine how much weight I was lifting. The mechanism shoulder press machine also seemed a bit rough. The room should also include a fountain to fill up water bottles.

Location was excellent.
Parking is is not included in the price . I had to pay extra $35 for the hotel parking. This is little bit strange but ok

Place was good location came for a function
Charged full parking rate upon check out did not check receipt till after I left as I was discussing with reception and they knew I was not to be charged full rate as function had paid for 2/3 of parking. ICE MACHINES NOT WORKING ON most floors need more amenities and lounge should open at least 1 hour earlier if there are functions

No vending machines.

View of the river valley
A bit dated

Staff was friendly, the concierge lounge was great, and the location is great for downtown entertainment. The view from the lounge was outstanding, wouldn't mind seeing in the summer/fall. Will stay again.
There isn't much to complain about, more nitpicking if I have to say something. The mattress wasn't quite as comfortable as I had hoped, but not a deal breaker. The only other disappointment was we only had 1 bath robe.

location was great as was the staff.
we stayed in the pet floor, which was my first time. everything seemed very old, from the carpeting to the tv. this may only be on the pet floor, but I’m not sure

Room was nice enough.
No parking for check in, no free parking for guests, elevators were rickety at best.

neat place, good pricing, and close to the concert venue we were going to.
toilet paper was pretty thin but it wasnt scratchy so i cant complain

Great location, welcoming staff, great view of the river valley
No mini fridge where the mini fridge normally is. The bathroom would probably benefit from more frequent deep cleaning and some updates.

The view
The interior of the building needs maintenance

good location
the view from the room was spectacular
a full breakfast as offered in other restaurants would have been nice. after all…Covid is over.
the bathroom fixture is too bright. lamps need to be decreased in output.
it was difficult to adjust the temperature in the room. an open window would solve this.
