Very clean but have to drag you stuff through restaurant that was crazy
How to get to room
2.5
The location was centrally, located and close to restaurants. The room itself was fairly nice.
The room could’ve been a bit cleaner. The biggest issue was the noise all night.
3.0
It was loud bar below
Couldn’t sleep
Heat pump made Loud noises
Light outside window and no curtain to close

super quiet, and clean. great location !

The room was very clean and the location was right in town and to have a restaurant downstairs was even better. The room was big and nicely put together.
The shower did not work and when we asked about it we were told Maintenance would look at it when we left. Needless to say we never got to shower during our stay and when we asked if there could be anything could take place as it was very expensive for the room with no shower, we were told the manager would get back to us as soon as possible. We have called, and we have been told the manager would be in tomorrow. We are now 4 days later. With no call or message.

Nice room
parking, add said 129.00 with 30% discount, total was 150.00 plus and no one to question about it

Chic, boutique. Quiet atmosphere with just a few rooms ... Quality over quantity
The faucet on the soaker tub was broken, we had to fill the tub using the shower head.
Having bottles of wine available in the room (minibar style)

very clean nicely decorated and had everything we needed
no complaints

Very convenient and like the “self check-in”
The bed was small and uncomfortable

Excellent location. Good restaurant below.
Room small and smelly. Trendy bathroom fittings which were inadequate: why no basin plug and shower rose etc difficult. Receptionist didn’t know post code and failed to explain room key system or how to access elevator. Room was over bar where band was playing - noisy. Had to carry cases up stairs. Expensive and not worth the extra!

Central location
No lift to 3rd floor, no info provided for parking. Bar downstairs so noise late at night. Doesn’t deserve 4 stars.

No elevators. With 2 spinal fusions and a new knee, I found the steep stairs daunting. I found the "humanless" approach undesirable as I had questions that needed answering. I never found the free parking and ended up paying to park in the garage across the street.

Good location! Easy to find! And the attached restaurant is legitimately good (albeit slow).
If you read the fine fine print, the listing says that "some" of the rooms "on the upper floors" are accessible only by stairs. But fuss is made that the rooms accommodate wheelchairs. (This post is not about any personal inconvenience to me or my family - we do not use wheelchairs. This post is about deceptive descriptions of the property which will, in fact, impact anyone. But especially anyone with a physical disability.)
No where does it say that the lobby itself is accessibly only by stairs. We hauled our bags up to the "lobby" where the "staff" barely deigned to drag herself out from behind the desk when our passcode wouldn't let us in.
When we asked where the elevator was, she said there wasn't any and started to walk away. When I asked where the parking was, she said there was "an issue" and there wasn't any and that we should just find some. (Eventually, some fellow guests -- who were also severely disappointed in the property -- shared their solution with us and we found parking. Still waiting on a reply to a Tweet I'd sent to the property asking for help ... and that was about a week ago.)
This isn't a "boutique" hotel. This is a chain. With management not available onsite to help trouble shoot. And clearly with staff not empowered to solve problems.
The room itself was relatively fine. The restaurant was loud at night. The shower is degrading and sharp pieces of grout literally came out each time we showered -- sharp pieces which we stepped on and tossed out.
4.5
The room was very spacious and well laid out.
A mini fridge would add to the convenience since there was no breakfast available.

Hard wood floors, deep bath tub, comfy linens and bed

RIEN ! absolument rien.
A la question: comment était le personnel? There was any staff!!! No one at the desk during the 2 days with stay at the hotel.
Walls were dirty
store was dirty
For an hotel boutique, I would have expected to have milk for the morning coffee. NOT CoffeeMate !!!
No elevator

It was clean
No breakfast, no wine, no staff. No one pick the phone when you call and if they do, they don't follow up your requests. Live music in the restaurant until late night and you can here every single guest step around the hotel. It is not a place to relax and have a good sleep.
3.5
Excellent, central location. Nicely updated room.
Need better sound barriers between rooms. Forewarning that a lot of stairs involved would have been nice.

Very nice room, exceeded expectations. Excellent location. Parking although not included is easy at the city public parkade one block over ("Alma/Church parking lot").
Breakfast offering was very limited. Note: the elevator was out of service and 3 flights of stairs to climb. Staff did offer to help us carry bags up though.

bathroom and bed were great
we got a knock at the door at 1130pm to ask if we were finished using the tub that we paid money to have in the room! we were finished using it, my husband had to go to the door in his robe.
