I liked the breakfast. The bed for very comfortable.
I liked the valet parking convenience.
I didn’t like that there were no parking available. You have to pay extra for the parking and park your car two blocks away from the hotel or pay a bit extra for a valet parking. The hotel wasn’t as clean as I expected.. the elevator was a bit dirty.

Convenient location on Whyte Ave
Parking is 2 1/2 blocks away and only 2 spots to unload on busy street - would not be great in winter or rain!

Close location to restaurants and where we needed to be. Staff was very friendly.
Rooms were dated. Foul odour coming up from sink in the bathroom in our room. Could not enjoy free breakfast on the weekend for the later start time of breakfast with our plans. Be better if it started at 0630. Expected a bit more for the rate we paid.

The rooms have very comfortable furnishings, nicely decorated rooms, exceptionally comfortable beds.
The breakfast was not the quality I expect at a 4 star hotel. Soft soggy pastries, tasteless muffins.Poor choice of bread for toast. Eģgs, bacon and sausage were good. Fruit, yogurt and granola options were good. First day the coffee was good, second day not drinkable. I think Merterra could improve the breakfast, it is not worth $18

Breakfast was awesome, and loved the machine that gave great lattes - had a nice selection of hot (bacon and scrambled eggs, oatmeal options) and cold (hard boiled eggs, toasts, pastries, yogurts and cereal). We came here without a car and this was absolutely the one place I'd want to be to be able to walk around and check out local shops and restaurants. The room was larger than expected, quieter than expected, and lots of nice perks and touches like the little earplugs (which we didnt need), little in room coffee and cream supplies, room fridge, a large shared patio, even provided us with little packet of antibacterial wipes which is a nice touch in these pandemic times.
The bed had a dip so it may be time for some new mattresses as we kept rolling into the hole, and it would be really sweet to have a speaker that allowed us to hook up our phones to (but that's just a suggestion) Honestly though, we had no complaints - this was a really nice place to stay!

Location is great. Breakfast was average and the room was very crowded. They had a balcony we would have liked to sit on but it wasn’t set up. There were no plants and the furniture wasn’t arranged. Could have been a great area.
Our kitchen didn’t have any dishes or utensils at all. The balcony wasn’t clean. The flower planters were full of weeds. The air conditioning system was right above the balcony so it was way too noisy to sit out there.
