Staff and the
Location worked for us. Good breakfast also!
Rooms are really looking “worn”. Need update. Our “second room” the AC went out and we had to move again.

The location was ideal for the event. Virgil was amazing! He was very helpful and friendly. A great value.
Breakfast was good, but not excellent. Not sure how it can be improved without adding additional expense.

Convenient to Norton hospital
Staff noise tv not working had to change rooms. When we changed rooms we were told they would bring the new cards up to us but we waited for over an hour and nothing we ended up going down and getting the cards for the other room ourselves. The guy said sorry we don’t have any staff I am by myself, we were there because we had a death in the family and it wasn’t a very good experience for us. The hallways were very noisy after 10 o’clock. I actually yelled at one time it’s quiet time calm down because I knew there was no use calling the front desk because he was by himself and wouldn’t do anything about it, I probably will never return there. Also, I asked for a ground floor room, but there were no grand floor rooms and asked for one closer than the fifth floor which what we got it just was not a good stay for us The carpet was very dirty downstairs in the walking area.

The waffle makes didn't work, the staff told us that the breakers were over loaded and there was nothing they could do. We opted to go out to breakfast instead of standing in a line of 12 people to use one waffle machine.
The pool was closed. If I had known that when I made my reservation, I would have chosen a different hotel. We started our extended weekend a day early to spend the day in the pool. When I asked why it wasn't advertised on their site, I was told that they didn't have to let us know that it was under constrution. I would not have paid for an additional day if that was the case. Highly dissatisfied!!
The bathtub didn't drain properly. After my shower, i was standing in two inches of dirty water.

This hotel was clean and they tried thier best to make guests comfortable.
The downfall was the sound (they did warn us at the front desk and supplied ear plugs in the room). You are right downtown and it is loud with firetrucks all hours. I also disliked the curtains that did not close to block all the light. It just had a sheer to cover.

I had to attend a function at the Convention Center and it was extremely close and less than a 15 min walk. I found several good restaurants nearby and even walking at 8 PM in the winter when very dark out was very safe. Breakfast was a nice surprise as I had forgotten it was a benefit and they had hot eggs, sausage if you wanted a hot item as well as the usual cereal, Danish, yogurt etc. Coffee was very good I think Peet's but not sure about that. Still good enough . Very reasonable price.
Although the room, bed and furnishings were fine including hang up closet and iron (who does that any more) there was no drawer to place folded clothes that one could reach easily each day while staying there. In all fairness there were two open shelves under the TV where you could lay out these clothes to be used over the days there but they were exposed and out in the open. Prefer an old fashioned Chester drawers. This is a minor issue as the room was very comfortable , clean, had a very well working heater /air conditioner. Streaming services on TV very limited. Could only find a single news station.

very clean, love that you had to have your room card to actually access the hotel after a certain time so you know only guests can get in!
nothing to really complain about, other than if your not from the area it can be confusing getting there had a little trouble with GPS. Not the hotels fault of course!

Reception Staff generally unhelpful. Laundry tickets provided in rooms but reception said there was no laundry service, took no responsibility for the fact there were tickets and provided no help to find a solution. Breakfast was all with disposable crockery which is a disgrace for the environment and waste. pool was closed. No milk for tea.

Cockroach’s living in the bathroom of room 623. Staff was friendly and did give me a full refund but we ended up driving 4 hours back home after a concert because I was not about to stay in a hotel with roaches
