Beautiful Hotel, facilities amazing, bar staff very friendly & helpful. Hope to stay in the St Regis when I visit Washington DC again.
We booked in for a 7 night stay. Ordered breakfast to our room almost every morning. Without exception we had to send the delivery member of staff back to the kitchen as there was always 1 or 2 items missing from our order!

Valet parking was very nice - but expensive.
For the amount of money I paid for the rooms, it was not worth the value.

El lobby es precioso y con un bar genial.
3.8
I liked the lobby and the staff at the bar.
The room felt claustrophobic and dated. Nothing is complimentary, not even breakfast. The staff at the reception did not warn me of the $900 hold they were about to put on my card.

Nice grounds
I was double billed for a bar charge. I waited on line to get it removed. Then I called twice to get it removed. As of now 5 days later it’s still not removed. Not sure what else to do.

A wonderful Hotel very well situated. The rooms are very food, the staff is super super nice. Our stay was really very nice. Breakfast is also very good, although a breakfast buffet would be a very well nice idea as well
The rooms are a bit oldfashioned and could be soon redone in order to modernise a bit. The last evening the staff in the bar & restaurant area had changed, and they could have been a bit more helpful and a bit more polite

Great location & great staff
Gym was slightly sub-par

Can’t say anything nice about the property except for the location.
From the time we were checking in that took 3 hours because the room wasn’t ready to the receptionist lying to us for 3 hours as to why the room wasn’t ready. On top of that he upsold a “bigger suite” for another 150/night. Later to be found out that the suite was the same that we had booked through booking.com. I would personally never stay there again let alone recommending it to anyone else.

Nice building, lovely decoration and best location
door man, no Spa

Fantastic stay - great location right in the heart of it.

Good location. Friendly staff
Small room/bathroom with windows on a ugly, dark and noisy internal courtyard. Room looked tired and need some renovation

Very expensive
Food great but 9 dollars for hot chocolate and 8 dollars for coffee give me a break

location and staff were amazing
rooms a little dated and dim

loved the eggs benedct and fruit. Bottomless coffee served promptly.
Breakfast was supposed to be included with my stay. I had to prove to the hotel that it was included and have it removed from my bill. This was apparently a bug in the communication between the hotel and booking.com, and it caused anxiety during the

Expensive. A cup of coffee was $9!
The restaurant had a very limited menu. At the bar I ordered a spicy margarita and after waiting 15 minutes was told they ran out of jalapeno and couldn't make it. I ordered a glass of wine and had to keep calling for servers as they were busy talking. I was not offered any nuts etc.

beautiful and perfect location, staff was super friendly and helpful, bar had great staff and cocktails.
Nothing.
3.8
location. large comfortable bed. nice bath products. fast room service.
staff were terrible - no front desk or bell boys to be found at any time of the day, very unhelpful when you did find them. rudely asked us to move when tried to take a work call in the foyer without offering an alternative location. front desk woman was extremely rude and unhelpful when we made requests during our stay. hotel restaurant is incredibly dated. hotel rooms are very dated and don’t have any automatic light switches. foyer is very garish and dated

The hotel is very nice
The attitude at the front desk. No respect for guests

location, building
the rooms are old! and bathrooms even more

the location
rooms are ancient, haven’t been renovated in decades, at best the level of a low 4* property. certainly not the level of St Regis. outrageously expensive for what they were. no central lighting system, v old lamps that had to be switched on/off individually, only one set of toiletries for two days (and two people!), no kettle or coffee machine in room, an empty mini bar(!) and just a bottle of water without a glass next to the bed.
FO staff was brilliant when I complained. the GM when I sent an e-mail took 3 days to reply and blamed it all on covid and the fact that ‘resources where impacted by the events of the last two years’. Moreover their system on booking wasn’t updated and when I sent a message (twice) via booking, the reply came back that Mr xxx no longer works at the St Regis and that I should email xxx or xxx (I emailed them directly and never got a reply). lastly, their system had put in the reservation as one long name first and last name of my husband and my maiden name(!) V bad experience all together

I forget my T-shirt and charger for phone in the room. After 3 hours from check out I call hotel management and ask to find them. I call them many times and they say that it’s not there and they need to check it with cleaning company but still not call me back, and never call me back in on details under this case. total amount of lost things is around 450$.

Beautiful public rooms.
Because it was my birthday my reservation was given a room upgrade.
Breakfast was very expensive given it was typical breakfast food, though well prepared.

The hotel is well located and comfortable.
When we initially arrived on 13 December 2021 we found the Reception staff to not be welcoming or interested. We found we had no fridge in the room and were advised that this may be able to be provided at an extra cost. It was very difficult to get more than two sachets of coffee and very few toiletries were provided.
Our experience improved markedly after I tested positive for COVID. Mike, the Manager, was practical and helpful. The housekeeping staff were enormously supportive. We were well cared for in the remaining days in the hotel with ample access to coffee, toiletries, towels and concern. We were grateful for this.
Pillows not very comfortable.
