Staff were not friendly. No room service. Garbage overflowing. We needed to track down staff for towels.

The entrance from the lobby of the hotel to the restaurant was sign posted as not to be used and guests were asked to go outside and back in the restaurant entrance. Not very convenient.

Centred in the middle of the village, walking distance from everything, bed and pillows were super comfy
Spa wasn't open 24/7

not able to cook. tea bags provided but no kettle.

The location was amazing
The staff could have promoted the town a little bit. When we checked in nothing was explained properly especially about adventures. I totally get that we could get this info from the adventure place but they could have explained where a few more places to see around whilst we were there.

Great location, hot tub right out front for good people watching, ski lockers
Beds were very uncomfortable old and kinda smelly, bottom sheet did not fit, and kept coming off, pillows smelled like there were from the 1950s, very squeaky loud old hotel, it’s definitely be used and abused over the years. Needs a full refresh, rooms were not ready check in, they were over 1.5 hrs late, reception just said to bad were busy, come back later, hot tub was not cleaned very well, rooms did not get cleaned or beds did not get made, toilet paper did not get re filled, complementary soap and shampoo dispensers were empty, overall a old tired place that’s cheap and dirty, with a good location. Can get loud on the weekend from the pub in the same building, I would stay again but I would just bring a sleeping bag and my own pillows

Amazing location. Could ski to door! Nicely decorated. Friendly
Staff. Terrific hot tub. Plenty of towns
It would’ve been helpful to have a microwave and also a couple of plates, some knives and spoons.

The room I was in was clean, comfortable and furnished well. The hotel itself is right in the heart of all of the restaurants and shops, it was in a great location and has its own car park. I’d definitely stay here again :)
Just be mindful if you need groceries you will have to get them from Vernon which is about a 30 min drive from Silver Star (depending on how long you are staying, I believe Walmart deliver to the area). A taxi from Silver Star to Vernon is ~ $60.

great location!
no a/c, just one fan in the room

Great shower. Cozy beds, on the super soft side. Village was quiet, mid-September, so few amenities open. Didn't see another guest at Bulldog or staff. Was there for BC Bike race and the Bull Dog was the only place in the village to allow 1 night minimum. Easy self checkin.
Stayed on 1st floor. Heavy 2am footsteps from 2nd floor neighbor.
Can't speak to the quality of quiet or if family friendly during peak season.

the tv was tiny. did not know I needed to bring a lock for the bike storage room.

Wonderful location and a very cool vibe!
Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, but fans are provided.

Gorgeous hotel! Loved how nice everyone was to my pet!

This was a great location that was cooler then the town of Vernon. The rooms are decorated with bulldogs and I found that charming.
8.0
Liked the proximity to the race I had travelled for.
I feel $140 is a lot to ask on the 3rd floor without Air conditioning.

It would be nice to be able to park near the hotel entrance
9.0
Located in the centre of the village. The music at the bar across the street was loud but they shut down at 8pm and everything was quiet after that. Nice big room, comfy bed and they also provided secure bike storage.
I would have liked a more secure lock for the door. The keys didn’t lock the deadbolt from the outside.
6.0
The tv was tiny. The toilet didn’t flush properly.
