The location is a few kilometres outside the city of Golden but a world away. I felt like I was in Austria when I was what looked like a Gasthaus or German bed and breakfast. It turns out the owner is from South Tirol in Sustria and built this place. When we arrived we couldn’t see much of the Rockies due to fires from Alberta but the next day when it cleared what a panorama. You just don’t get any more beautiful than this
Brandy is a superb hostess, so friendly and caring. She loves to talk and so do I so we had a lovely tour of this huge house. The house was so cool even though the outside temps were in the 30’s
She showed us a basement room where guests could store food in the fridge or order take out and sit and watch a movie.
Our room was upstairs and had a gorgeous balcony view of the mountains. Everything was clean and the place was very comfortable, The house is painted in very bright colours, not everybody’s taste but I loved it.
The breakfast again was superb - fresh fruit salad and juice, fresh coffee of course and then a delicious open sandwich with bacon, egg, tomato, cheese served on great bread
Our room was comfortable with adequate place to hang clothes, a desk, comfy bed and small but adequate bathroom
I cant speak more highly about this place we stayed two nights and it wasn’t enough. We found the place so relaxing overlooking the majestic mountains and so close to Yoho National Park

The breakfast was exceptional, and the host was very nice. The room was clean and the view is amazing
you can hear other residents when they are in the lobby or when taking a shower (you can hear the water), so there is quiet time from the evening until the morning

breakfast was great. Location great distance wise, only 6 minutes outside of town.. Very unique.
Would not drive there at night. Very narrow road.

The breakfast was very good
The room was big and clean
The host was very nice
-From the description, we thought that there was an accessible kitchen for the guess but there was only an refrigeretor and a microwave
-it was more expensive than we thought because the tax was not inculded in the displayed total price.

This B&B is located a little outside of Golden in the forest and provides an exceptional view. Outdoor chairs are provided and you can enjoy the scenery with a glass of wine (or a coffee) that the owner offers in the afternoon.
The house is immaculately clean and decorated tastefully. Brandy, the owner serves a delicious breakfast and gives lots of recommendations on where to go for dinner in Golden and the close-by national parks. My biggest regret is that we only stayed for 2 nights…
The bed was a little too hard for me, but this a matter of taste and should not stop you from booking this B&B.

It was a great place, a little bit away from the town center, which might be a problem for some people. The Breakfast in the morning was fantastic, and the host was exceptional, helping find things to do in the area.
9:30 PM on the main floor was a little early for quiet time, however, when the host is on the same floor, it is understandable, and there is a place to go (downstairs) if you want to continue the conversations.

Clean, comfortable, lovely view.
Noisy. Not the owners fault. She puts rules in place, but our neighbours ignored them. They had noisy fan on way past 11.

The location, the lodge, the breakfast (that was different every morning, which was really appreciated, the cute deer sitting by the car on the parking lot..

The individual touches and attention to every detail were outstanding and Brandy is a wonderful host. A spectacular location above the Columbia river and a great breakfast.
The rooms don't have A/C, although the fan was very effective. Note that the lodge is not signposted on the main road if arriving from the south and so you need to keep your eyes open for the sign to Almberg Road

When I booked this B&B I couldn’t believe it could be as good as the reviews made out. I can now. If ever an accommodation did “what it said on the tin” this is it. Fantastic location – excellent, welcoming and informative host – brilliant breakfasts.
Trying hard to think of a downside but there isn’t one. We loved it.

Best view we’ve had yet from the balcony, a view of all the surrounding mountains. Quirky decor and a lovely host Brandy who made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was yummy too!

Absolutely stunning view. Very quiet location just outside Golden. Brandy was a lovely host and recommended a great restaurant in Golden. Wonderful breakfast.
Very steep winding drive to the property - would be difficult in bad weather.
