Having breakfast outdoors overlooking the St. Lawrence was an experience to treasure always. The owner and
worker were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple but very healthy with loads of fresh fruit.
Because it is an older property there was nowhere to put soap, cosmetics, toothbrush, etc. other than the
windowsill in the bathroom.

We liked very much the location with the view of the river. It is a quiet place.
That facility is old with little investment to make the guests more comfortable. Breakfast was below expectations.

Quaint, antique feeling, tranquil, excellent elevated location overlooking the bay.
Mme. Lise, the owner, is fluently bilingual, friendly and helpful.
Her breakfast is plentiful, with emphasis on local ingredients, various breads and plenty of cereals and fruits, but no hot food is served.
The stone terrace with river view made for a very relaxing Happy Hour with other guests. Some great restaurants are nearby. e.g. Le Bistro 245.
Actually the one thing we found kind of amusing were the creaky, slanted floor in our room.
However, the gorgeous river view more than made up for it!

Nice simple breakfast. The view was outstanding.
Our room was very dark. We had to have the lights on in the middle of the day.

Beautiful large home/auberge with a fabulous view over the bay. Very good breakfast in a continental mode with covid restrictions as to touching, and choosing. Lovely terrace and lawn overlooking the Bay and an indoor sunroom. The living room would be wonderful with the fire roaring in winter, but in this season, we did not use it.
The location was attractive in that it was in an upscale area on the same level and one kilometre away from the Fairmont Manoir Richelieu which was pleasant to visit and walk their coastal trail.
The owner and her staff were excellent, welcoming and helpful, but never intrusive.
Very quiet. We had a sliding door to a grassy area, with a couple of chairs . And a refrigerator for snacks and drinks.
Our room was unexceptional, as it had no view and had a tiny bathroom. We didn't understand why so much money was spent on a seldom used jacuzzi when carpets and curtains in our room and the adjacent hallway were dull and shoddy. I gather there were many nicer, probably more expensive rooms .
You need a car to access the town as the Gite was up a steep hill and a few km from the town centre.
The bed pillows were foam and uncomfortable but the housekeeper searched and found a single softer pillow for me; my partner had to put up with the uncomfortable ones. The lighting for reading was inadequate but we read our ereaders so didn't miss the light. We loved the local movie theatre; first theatre movie we had seen in nearly two years!

Nice view.
For almost $200, the room I stayed had no view, no fridge, no TV, no aircon. The bath is a antique style that you have to use two curtains to prevent water from splatting. The lady treating her clients like a teacher commanding student. Not friendly. The living room looks nice in the picture but without aircon and wearing a mask, nobody stayed there.

Good location, cozy living and patios, nice garden and an excellent breakfast.
The room was small, no TV, no AC.

Location was great. The outdoors were really nice with spectacular view.
Breakfast was the same every day. We stayed 3 nights so it got to be boring.
Owner wasn’t very friendly, very cold.
Coffee was terrible.
Garden view room does not exist.

Breakfast was delicious. The auberge overlooks the St. Lawrence as do the outdoor dining/sitting areas.
The bathroom fan is extremely noisy and works in conjunction with the light. However the bathroom is very functional and everything was spic and span.
