The reviews for this place are unfortunately misleading… we did not have a good stay
The room had a very strong mold smell, it is not well insulated, and its located near a busy road so it was a bit noisy from all the cars. We also had dinner in their bistro and it was below average and overpriced.

Very nice dining room and food. Friendly and welcoming staff.
Stairs up to room. Room and shower room small but adequate.

Every meal is unforgettably delicious.

Breakfast was included and we expected a run-of-the-mill continental meal. However, we were pleasantly surprised to be served gourmet breakfasts in a beautiful room overlooking the St. Lawrence.
This is not something the Inn can change, but I will mention it. The room was very quiet except for heavy trucks coming from the port along the highway between the Inn and the St. Lawrence throughout the night.

Great location! Great service, great breakfast and dinner. Very very friendly to kids!

Breakfast was delicious - not a huge choice of teas though but I guess there are more coffee drinkers than tea drinkers.
In the evening the restaurant of the hotel was not open and unfortunately the restaurant opposite was closed so we had to drive into the centre of La Malbaie to find somewhere to eat.
Our room was on the top floor and I must say the final staircase to the top floor is very narrow and it was a bit tricky going up and down with a suitcase!

Amazing breakfast! Cute heritage style rooms. Incredible view of the river. Friendly staff.
It is an older hotel so the stairwell is narrow and the room layout might be disjointed but we very much enjoyed our stay.

Location, hospitality n cleanliness
Noise sound when people walked on upper level because the floor made from wood.

The staff was great and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were in the center of all our outdoor activities.
Around dinner time the restaurant serves great food and it made us hungry every evening

The property is very beautiful run by a friendly family, located right in front of the water. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant was super cute.
Our room was very outdated. Could not take showers because our room was in an attic. The walls are slanted so you cannot even stand up. I had to wash each of my body part individually which took a lot of time. Washroom is tiny. Poor lighting. It was hard to sleep cause of all the noise and also the bedsheets were super old and did not look clean. My body was itching all night. I also requested a room with a sea view but i got a view of the main road. I also told staff i was pregnant ahead of time so they should have informed me of their shower situation or found me more suitable room. This hotel has great potential but it isn’t worth 150 a night. They need to invest in their guests comfort and upgrade their rooms.

The wind was passing through the window... I guess not very pleasant in winter
The building is very old, and you hear some noises from the other rooms
