The breakfast was wonderful....a nice variety of breakfast goodies. We awoke to the smell of fresh baked croissants ( which were so fresh, delicious and huge).
Because the weather was not cooperating we enjoyed the opportunity to come back and enjoy a cup of tea and treats in the afternoon.
If there was a place to position our suitcase while we picked our clothes from it.

The place is well maintained. It felt like a little museum but also like a old style, cute and cozy house. Shared rooms are well thought and decorated. Music was playing when we arrived adding to the ambiance of the place. A little terrace space to enjoy the breakfast under the sun is great
Our room was small but comfy with everything you need really
Breakfast was a blast! Everything you dream of. Croissants were fresh and so good!
The personnel was available if needed and so nice
Cant recommend enough! We would definitely come back when visiting Quebec :)
We should have stay longer ;)

Amazing, old world charm. Such a comfortable, quiet, and wonderful boutique hotel. Great for visiting Quebec City.

Location was great! Love the common rooms (we had them to ourselves) Staff was friendly, helpful and bilingual.
Room was hot but we could have opened the window and we are used to cold bedrooms. There was a fan.

L'accueil de Nadège et le lieu : c'est la 2e fois cette année que j'y vais.
Je voyage régulièrement et je recommande cet hébergement de Québec.

Charme, endroit romantique et raffiné dans un décor de l'époque victorienne.

Continental breakfast was OK, but the croissants were huge, warm, and delicious.
Stairs were steep and narrow, but the innkeepers were helpful with the larger bags. Overall a decent solution for the age of the building.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The auberge was beautifully decorated with period furniture and artwork. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location was also terrific, in close walking proximity to the center of Old Quebec. Parking was also very convenient. We would love to stay here again on our next visit.

The atmosphere, the experience, the openness, the generosity of the hosts ...... the whole experience was far beyond expectations and in brief, amazing - thank you for welcoming us into your home and allowing us the 'run of the house'
The presentation was moving, the rooms & bed most comfortable, and the community brilliant
Can't say enough positive
It was all beyond expectations

A serene spot to enjoy Quebec. Comfy and quiet spotless room, cozy common areas, and relaxing rooftop patio. Delicious breakfast with fabulous croissants and strawberry jam. Our host, Donna was exceedingly kind and helpful.
Be aware that the main floor is on the second level and you go up another flight of stairs to your room. Travel light, it is well worth the climb.

It’s quaint with a delightful second floor sitting room and kitchen. Ended up with a huge thunderstorm about 9pm and we’d intended to go out for dinner and live music. My boyfriend put on his swimsuit and a rain coat and ran about 5 blocks away and got a bottle of wine and a frozen pizza. We used the awesome kitchen to cook our pizza and borrow wine glasses! Made for a much more fun night in when on vacation!

The property oozes charm and character and was perfect for our stay in Old Quebec.
The staircase was a little tricky to manage with our suitcases.

It was in a very central location near all.
On the website the hotel describes that all common rooms are on the first floor and all guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. This is deceiving as when you enter the front door there is A very set of steep and extremely narrow stairs just inside the door to climb and get to the main floor. There is then very steep and narrow stairs you must climb to get to your room. It is very difficult to get up with a suitcase. The rooms are uncomfortably small with no room to maneuver in if there is more than one person. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. I reached out to the owner of the property who advised they try to be very clear about the steep steps on their website. They advised that since we did not give 48 hours notice we could not be refunded. I have reviewed the website several times since and am unable to find anywhere it discusses the steep stairs. I reviewed the guest reviews of this hotel before booking and all were 5/5 with one being 4/5. Looking these over now I see that there are large gaps in the dates of reviews. None for 2023 and few for 2022. I have a hard time believing that we are the only ones who found this hotel unacceptable due to the stairs.

Beautifuly decorated, immaculately cleaned. Great place to stay.
The shower stall was very small but everything else made up for that.

Very relaxed and comfortable, and beautiful throughout. The host was helpful but not at all pushy. Having a full kitchen (refrigerator space, wine glasses, etc) was a nice bonus, as was the pretty rooftop patio.

What an extraordinary, historic place! Beautifully furnished with antiques, delicious continental breakfast, incredibly comfortable bed and great bathtub with lots of hot water. Charming staff!! Great part of town, outside the St. John wall. Easy to walk to the old city, but nice to be in a non-touristy area, on a funky street with lots of fun shops, bars and restaurants, near a gorgeous old Anglican church and burial ground. The grocery store is terrific too. Can't recommend enough.
Everything was wonderful.

The common areas are wonderful, including home theater area for watching netfix. An easy walk to a major gate in the wall, and there are many good restaurants nearby.
We didn't mind the stairs, but they are on the steep side.

Great location, meeting other guests, lounge, TV room, sun lounge, dining room were lovely and beautifully decorated. Being able to have a relaxing bath! The breakfast was lovely.
Room was small and very hot. Unfortunately the breakfast on our last day was extremely limited.

The Auberge was amazing! I loved hanging out in the parlor in front of the fire after a day of exploring in the cold. All the other guests were wonderful, and there was a lot of camaraderie. Everyone was very respectful and the upstairs with the bedrooms was completely quiet. We woke up to the aroma of baking cookies and fresh coffee. The continental breakfast had a lot of options and was really nice. I especially loved the antiques, and every kitchen implement you could need was available. The staff were incredibly friendly! It was a great stay.

the heater was so strong and it was really really hot even if it was -30 degree outside
