The feeling of a cabin almost. Was great because the owner/ front desk was very nice. She was delightful to speak too. It's great for a last minute booking. Our main goal was to not be in the room but to be out exploring all day, which is exactly what we did.
Upon arrival, you could see after walking bare foot for a few minutes that the carpet was dirty. The facilities were not updated, and the beds were pretty much falling apart. The bathroom was clean. However, the cleaner left a used soap bar in the shower. Lamps had to be plugged in to provide any light in the room.

Lovely people. Nice location. Spacious accommodation with garden to sit in. Walks nearby. Town nearby.
The shared kitchen always had dirty dishes in it.

I was traveling with my son and I had to book a room with a Queen bed because there was no other room available at that time. Once we arrived, I asked if it would be possible to move us to a 2 beds room. On the next day, they did it. I do appreciate their flexibility and customer service. The place was clean.
The drawer/TV furniture is in bad shape; and it's in front of the mirror. One room didn't have a microwave, an the other room had a broken one.

Location was perfect for what I needed and easy to find. I didn’t get to have any but. I really liked that they had ice cream in the lobby. The decor was dated by about 40 years but, tasteful. I didn’t mind. I didn’t even mind making friends with a spider I couldn’t reach in the bathroom. It is cottage country after all. I loved the little back patio, even though I didn’t get to use it and the room seemed to have all the amenities I might need except an iron or a hair dryer which wasn’t an issue on this trip. Best of all , the room was huge! I didn’t need the space but, if I had my family with me, it would certainly be appreciated. Parking was right outside which was very convenient.
Some of the outlets and switches didn’t work and there was no overhead lighting so, I had to find my way to a lamp before closing the door and losing the light from outside. It was all lit up and cozy when I first got there though, which was very inviting after a long drive. A second night stand on the other side of each bed would have made using my cpap machine while charging my cell phone a little easier.

Bed was comfortable
expensive for what it was. Tired looking, everything old. I understand that this place was taken over recently and I would have thought that the new owners would have some pride in their new place and freshen everything up, ie. clean everything thoroughly then new paint in rooms, replace old furniture and decor with more current and appealing things, windows thoroughly cleaned, screens with holes replaced, picnic tables either stabilized, stripped and painted or replaced. They were dangerous to sit on. As well, the back garden should be cleaned up, leaves raked up, bbqs cleaned after use. oh!! And replace the carpeting in the rooms, really old and dirty. You are charging a lot of money for subpar accommodation. Tourism on the Bruce Peninsula is already becoming less now that people can travel worldwide, you really want to be more competitive and stand out from all the other places around.

No restaurant was available, bed was soft and lumpy and the TV was intermittent.

Location was right beside the highway.
Room was clean and the linens were clean and fresh.
Motel is tired and in need of updating. Bare minimum furnishings in the room. No closet, just a clothes rack beside the front door.
No coffee and tea maker in the room. Communal kitchen was tired and minimal counter and sink covered in dirty dishes.

I bought my own breakfast at Tim Hortons. The owner was very nice and so helpful!
I was very happy with my stay and liked the owner. She was most helpful.

Good location and the room had a little patio in the back that we could use
Mattresses were too soft. The fridge and the bathroom door were noisy.

The staff was friendly and even though the hotel was just off the main roadway, it wasn't too loud. Each room has a 'back door' to a green yard edged with trees, playground, and chairs. We were also able to park at the hotel and walk a short distance to get to the trail leading into the Spirit Rock Conservation area so we didn't have to pay for parking for that.
The lighting in the room was terrible - the main lights were like garage shop lights and so intense we could only have the lamp on. No kettle or coffee maker in the room even though it said there would be.

Lady at the front desk was lovely and friendly. Location was great for travelling up to the Grotto and Tobermory the next day :)

Strong Wifi, clean, central controls for heating and AC.
Also, back door leads to a lovely backyard with picnic table, BBQ and play area.
More amenities like cups and soap dish in washroom. Easier to use shower controls.

Could have been a coffee pot and microwave in the room. The kitchenette was messy and had dirty dishes in the sink so we didn't use it. Also could use black out curtains on the windows. The all night outdoor lights were bright. Otherwise the safe was fine.

Excellent location. Only minutes by car from supermarket, LCBO, Beer Store, restaurants and waterside park with Canada's most famous groundhog both in statue and in the flesh. Room has a refrigerator and microwave and is quite roomy. Beds were okay. TV worked fine once batteries were removed then reinserted in the remote. A nice feature was a pole lamb beside one bed containing a second light directed unto bed to facilitate reading. So many hotels/motels at all price points both in Canada and Europe lack proper illumination for reading.
Breakfast not included or even available when we stayed at end of September. Coffee maker in room would have been appreciated. A lamp did not work. Bathtub drain plug useless if one wanted a bath. Sliding rear patio style door secured by a piece of wood. No smoking and no pets policy which was fine by me. Pail with sand at front entrance to extinguish butts ought to cleaned between guests.

Easily accessible from Hwy 6. A good minimalistic motel to stay at one or a couple nights. I had a bike race to attend early Sunday morning so sleeping over Saturday night was better than traveling 3+hrs in the middle of the night. Cozy motel room with parking outside your door.
Cleanliness of the place was good. Only thing was that toilet was right next to the bathtub, so right leg was against the tub. Not a deal breaker since the bathroom was clean.

Quiet location, in nice weather place to sit out back, cable TV
Fridge on the floor, no coffee maker or microwave, bathroom sink caulking was dirty & poorly repaired. They also used a strong cleaning agent or spray.
Outside lights on till late at night and very flimsy curtains don't keep the light out.

Owners very friendly. Room very clean.
Rooms could use a little touch up on doors and trim, weeds outside.
