comfy beds. Lady at front counter was nice. Cleaning lady was sweet.
no coffee. what the heck? 2023. A hotel thats over 200.00/night with no coffee in the rooms or in the lobby? Unacceptable. Killed the stay for us.

A good Location. Cereal and coffee that’s the only breakfast. They don’t refill once it runs out.
Staff is rude except for the 1st receptionist. We usually travel twice a year to Stamford to visit family… This place has been the worst we have stayed in. You get what you paid for but I paid 280 a night for 4 days. Parking space is under ground they also use that space for the hotel trash. They have the previous beds and the chairs and other trash down there. One of the ladies let us know we could park up-stare the 1st day and the second day the other one said “NO THAT IS NOT OUR PARKING SPACES.” When I got to my room I found medication in the fridge an a shirt in the closet that let me know that they did not do house cleaning in that room…They give complementary breakfast from 6-10 but after anything runs out they are not allowed to refill anything including coffee that’s what the front desk lady said.

The parking.
Had to keep replacing keys as they stopped working. Very filthy closet in the hotel hallway with the door propped open.
Most of breakfast was gone by the time we ate at 8:55. You need a toaster!

The layout of the room was very nice.
Got from A to B very nicely.
Was harrased by what we think was an employee who kept staring and calling a name when we said we aren't them. The whole stay.

Nice staff, but you had to reach out to them first to interact.
It was old and worn. It also seemed some of the hotel had residents vs guests.

…..
Where do I start? I’ll make it short and simple. The room was dusty and dated. It felt like I was in someone’s old apartment. Didn’t feel comfortable at all. Had to wipe down the ugly old furniture because everything was lined with dust. The tub was missing pieces and rusty. They have at least one cat living in the lobby (they even have furniture for it) Pictures can be deceiving. Had I known what this place was really like, I would’ve NEVER booked. Parking lot is super small Amenities? two old lawn chairs. We felt so uncomfortable that we didn’t even stay the first night. Canceled the stay and booked a much nicer hotel elsewhere. The first employee I dealt with was helpful and kind. The second (night shift) was miserable. The whole vibe of the building is a turn off. I was so disappointed when I pulled up. Not worth whatever little bit of money you think you might be saving. Sadly, I didn’t get to see the city of Stamford but maybe another time. Definitely not at this “hotel” though.

Location was very convenient, close to Highway. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I loved the lobby cats. :) Was awesome to have a separate bedroom so we could put our son down early. Blackout curtains were great!
Stopper in whirlpool tub was missing, and not working in sink, so we could not fill either. Had to be a bit creative to give our toddler a bath.
Air conditioner in the living area/ kitchen did not work well. Exposed screws on kitchen drawer(s), unfortunately right at toddler eye level.

Check-in was very easy. Staff was pleasant. Parking was included and plentiful. The elevator was very fast. The room was very big.
The hotel is in desperate need of remodeling. Everything is old and dated - the carpet is frayed everywhere, the bathroom is old, the appliances have seen better days, the curtains are worn. Although it is an expensive area, paying $150/night didn’t feel like a good value at all. Its condition is what you would expect to find in some old roadside motel in the middle of nowhere. The door handle to our room even broke during our stay and we had to wait for maintenance to come fix it. The included breakfast was some pre-packaged bagels, cereal, and coffee or orange juice. There were a couple of yogurts but they weren’t refrigerated, so we stayed away from them.

Big suit for 150$ sounds great, kitchen. Bed was fine, a little bit hard but seemed clean, clean bathroom floor
Everything was old, dirty, there was some fly, not working TV, extremely dirty microwave. Bathroom was dirty, just the floor was clean in bathroom but the carpets- gross...
What was very annoying that in the room next door some girls were smoking weed and I was with my son, my room started to stink and I couldn't do much because my son was sleeping already..it was disappointing.

The room was filthy, stains on the couch (looked like human DNA), floor had burn marks in the rugs, bathroom had horrible chipped painting, the smell of marijuana all through the hotel and especially in elevator and hallway by our room. Cigarette smell, then someone sprayed some kind of deodorizer in the hallway that was horrible. Stained dish cloth hanging on the stove. There was yelling and arguing in the room next to us at 3 a.m. When we arrived they didn't know what our room was the computer was down so they had to go check and see if a room was clean upstairs.. Wouldn't there be a clean room at 2:30 a.m. Didn't get the room we paid for for the night. My children have asthma so we couldn't stay there another night. I think the hotel should have to pay the patrons $300 deposit for staying there risking their lives.

location
property is very old I’m from this city and it looked the same as I remember in the 80’s
the phone wasn’t working and I ask the staff and he answered don’t you have a cell phone?
The breakfast consists of stale cereal that been sitting on plastic container and 3 bagels that’s once gone that’s it.
stay away from this property there’s lots more options in that area.

It was not as advertised on booking.com
Stains on carpet in room. Phone and tv did not work. Asked to change rooms hotel could not accommodate. Must change $300 incidental fee on separate card from card you used to book. No one could answer why. Guy at front desk promised to change room but went home for the day. His replacement was left to figure it out without any notes. Since I could not be accommodated with a different room I was told they would cancel my booking so I could go to another hotel but they still have my account pending payment. Also it seems people staying there were having in room parties. Too many suspicious people coming -going in and out.

My suite was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was a decent size. I did not feel cramped in the space. Some things were a bit dated, but it was still nice overall.
The major issue I had was the $300 fee that I did not know about until I arrived at the hotel. There was no communication from the hotel or Booking.com concerning the fee. Additionally, I wish I knew in advance that there was a cat on the premises. Yes, a feline; scratching post and all. If you are allergic to cats, are not a cat lover, or are concerned about potentially leaving with cat hair, this is not the hotel for you. The breakfast was what it was; nothing special. If you expect hot food as a continental breakfast option, this is not a hotel for you.

if i could give this hotel 0 stars i would
where do I begin? hotel was run down and very out dated. my non smoking room smelled like cigarettes and was just so gross. i picked the deluxe suite because of the spa bath and it didn’t even work!!! They wouldn’t admit to me until morning that the spa baths don’t actually work. (i was already grossed out about the bathroom stench the night before i had already lost interest in trying to sit in that tub anyways) beds were uncomfortable. No outlets near beds to even plug in my cell phone to have my phone alarm near me. Hallways stunk so bad. Breakfast was also a complete disgrace from what they list as a “continental breakfast” hard bagels with no cream cheese, stale coffee and sugary stale cereal. terrible!!! And the
worst was the $ 300 deposit i had to pay once i got there that i wasn’t told about when i booked the room!!!! this should be told to people when they book their stay! We were so disappointed with this “hotel” never again !!! we left as early as possible because this is no place for a family with 2 small children!!! Please stay away and beware of this disgusting place

We liked the location, the spaciousness and the cat. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The tv was small for the room, we found a cigarette in the couch, there were no screens in the 4th floor windows, lights were flickering, and just the hotel in general looked like it needs some updates. It just didn’t seem like what we expected at all.
