The location was great with ocean view and beautiful apartment with everything you might need. The security guard was very nice and helpful letting us into the apt after hours and giving us directions, suggestions etc. Place was located within walking distance of a beautiful park with a great cove for swimming without waves and lovely fish to view. The location made driving between North and South shore easy. It was close to shoppinng "Coconut Marketplace" as well as grocery store and less expensive places to eat.
The hotwater value in the shower wouldn't turn so you could only have lukewarm water. The couch had not been vacummed so you got sand on your legs when you sat down. As you had to clean your dishes and take out the trash, thought the $265 cleaning deposit was excessive.
when I notified the facilities for a late check in they diidn't put keys in lockbox. Luckily I saw the security guard as I didn't have cell service in the parking lot and couldn't call the number they gave to call.

We had 5 rooms, 15 people. Major inconsistencies. 2 2 bedroom units were not up to standards, holes in walls, broken window latches, bad carpet. 2 rooms were very nice, clean updated 1 was good, clean, if i didnt have other rooms to compare, and just the 2 bad rooms, i would have left,
The grounds were very nice, well kept, staff was helpful, and tried to resolve issues, but unfortunately, they were full, and couldnt change our accommodations. I think since all units are privately owned, they should be better inspected, not rented out untill they are up to a minimum standard, and are on par with the rest of the property. I understand its a older condo complex, and was not expecting a resort feeling, but should be nice!

The location is great as well as the views,
The staff was not helpful, no maintenance to fix the screen door that was ripped and bugs entering all evening before we arrived. The appliances where weathered and the carpet was stained. No double beds in second bedroom, and no washer and dryer as advertised for the booking.

the location, nice no quite and nice staff.
Chickens, the noise from them

No breakfast included
If you google what a resort is, this location doesn’t match the definition.

Lovely central location. Very comfortable condo.
The weather was awful but that's not the resorts fault!
8.0
Ocean view, accessibility to Lydgate park, location.
Cable TV inoperable during our stay. Cable box defective and had to be replaced. Thus, the one, and only time we tried using the TV in order to watch an NFL playoff game, it did not work, and the office could not help us until the following day. Units at this facility are individually owned. Some units are better maintained than others.

there was no hot tub or air conditioning

separate from other hotel properties. you have 3 miles of sandy beach to yourself. A swimming lagoon is close by.

Proximity to the ocean and parks.
A few issues with the unit but they were resolved quickly the next day.

This place was awesome!!! The view was amazing the location was great!! The house was the best. The only thing that wasn't awesome is the TV kept losing signal and didn't work much. But we weren't watching much TV it was beautiful there. Also I think I ended up paying more than what they quoted me at the beginning bit it was a great place other than those 2 things! Loved it and if we go back I will stay here again.

The office staff (Emma) was extremely helpful and welcoming!
Would be great to have a king bed instead of a queen bed. And you may want to warn people about the roosters (we used a white noise app to drown them out).

The unit we stayed in felt like home and had the most spectacular ocean view. Parking was easy. Staff were lovely.
A hot tub would have been amazing!

The apartment was right by the ocean and it was clean. The grounds were beautiful.
The description listed two double beds and a pull out sofa. The beds were TWIN beds and the pull out sofa was broke and didn’t pull out so my kids didn’t have enough room to sleep and were sharing twin beds or sleeping on the floor. Somehow I missed the fact that there was no AC. There was a breeze that went through the apartment so it wasn’t terrible uncomfortable, but it was warm
and humid at night and we could hear roosters crowing at 5:30 am and one morning there was some seriously loud shouting starting at 5:30 am and my whole family spent the entire day exhausted, which is not how you want to spend your time in Hawaii.

Everything. This resort is amazing. We just loved the room and the views. We had the beach in front of us. It was too good to listen to the ocean every night and morning.
Everything was good.

The location was good and had plenty of parking
There was no AC and the people above us were noisy.

Very tasteful and comfortable local decor. It’s obvious that the owner of the condo we rented is an artist and it was really nice to stay in her artistic space
The location for the sunrise was absolutely fantastic!!! We couldn’t ask for better!!!
Having salt and basic spices available.
A small beach cooler would have been really nice but...it was terrific to have a boogie board, a mask and snorkel equipment and two beach chairs available! We found an extra boogie board at the surf swap in town so we left an extra for future guests.

Beautiful setting. Close to Lihue and Kapaa
A couple nights there was a smell of sewage outside our deck.

I was happy that we had an ocean view from our property, even though we were on the ground floor. I also liked that the property was on the Lydgate park path which made for easy access to walking/running.
Aside from the pool, there weren't any additional facilities like a workout room or food and beverage.
