Location, location, location.
Beach area was nice.
That being said, needed two adults to open door once we arrived. Air conditioner subpar. Had to change rooms after 1st night due to ants. We've stayed at several different places in Key West over the last several years and thought I would splurge on the Pier House for the wife. I understand things happen, but...for 1/2 the price I could stay 2 blocks away and expected the above problems.

Cancelation was impossible and they blamed it on Booking
Their lack of communication for 4 days

Perfect Location. Awesome rainforest/Hawaiian landscaping. Cool private beach area.
A/C didn't get the room cold. Our room never got below 76.

This was a reservation that was made by mistake. I called booking.com to ask them to cancel or modify the reservation of which Booking.com refused to do. Essentially booking.com took almost $1,700 from me on a reservation that I never checked in on because it was a mistake. The refused to cancel or modify the reservation. It is my opinion that this company is predatory and not a good outlet for booking vacations or any sort of travel arrangements.
You can’t like something that you didn’t redeem.

Central to all activities. Loved the private beach and pool.
Air conditioning was really loud at all times.

The property is great. I had a street view and it still felt private. The private beach is well well worth it. We spent hardly any time in the pool and all in the ocean. There are great dining options on the property. Also great staff! Shout out to Michal (beach) and to all the beach servers.
It was a little hard to navigate at first, but they do provide a map. The room itself was a bit cramped but we loved the stand in shower bathroom!

Location is excellent and within walking distance of anything you need or famous sites to see
We had a trail.of ants in our room each day headed from the hallway up the wall and out to the roof.

The location/property was beautiful. I absolutely loved the shower, I will truly miss it.
I didn’t like the firm beds, but the staff was very accommodating and gave me a pillow top mattress pad.

beautiful inside and out
what room we stayed in - not Pier’s fault but the Celtic place across the street played obnoxious music (techno) extremely loud until late hours. I have complained to that business - who likes that kind of music? no one

the location, staff, food and service at the bar and restaurant was exceptional.
The room was not comfortable. The AC was not good enough to maintain a comfortable temperature. The bathroom ventalation very weak which made the room even more hot. I suggest a room dehumidifier to remove moisture from the room to make it cooler.

The location is good.
The property is dated and overpriced.
We booked two rooms at the hotel.
The rooms were extremely dated, and the hotel needs a renovation overall.
The rooms were nothing like advertised, and the Junior Suite overlooked a roof and back end of another property, not the "lush" garden advertised.
The breakfast food was underwhelming.
To pay USD1500-00 per night for two rooms was not worth the expense.
The hotel beach was tiny, and then people left towels on the beach chairs very early in the morning, preventing us from using the facility. The pool was overcrowded with limited space.
8.0
great location, nice beach and water access.
nothing I really didn’t like. Room size a little small for 4 to put luggage, but overall it was good.

The hotel location is excellent. Walking distance to most sites. Staff is very pleasant. The "One Duval" and the "Beach Bar" restaurants at the hotel were both excellent.
I thought our first floor room was super dark and dreary -- no natural light. We did have an outside garden area but it was dark as well because it was surrounded by the building, not appealing to sit out there at all. No water view or any sunlight. Also, room was located next to the ice machine which was always busy and loud.

The location to Duvall
we have no complaints at all
10.0
I liked the private beach access, the pool and the on site restaurant.
I wish the air conditioner went down to 62°.
9.0
perfect location at the end of Duvall street
It's own beach and pool
We were not told that loungers with towels folded on we're booked and that we had to arrange this beforehand with pool staff.
This led to an uncomfortable discussion it's a very rude pool attendant.
All other staff helpful
