The breakfast was acceptable. The staff was polite. The room was the best part. Very comfortable.

I could hear the dogs from other rooms late into the night and the upstairs guests until after 1 AM. The staff member at check in told us breakfast was at 6:30. We came down to find it was actually 7:30 since it was Saturday. We would have made other arrangements had we known the correct time.

Breakfast was quite good. Location was convenient.

I am leaving Staybridge Suites Wilmington-Newark and have mixed feelings. Through booking.com I thought I had reserved a 1 bedroom suite with 2 double beds. This was the source of the issue as there were no rooms like that available, although the booking.com website indicated that there were. Standing outside the hotel that evening, I went onto the booking.com website to find that the website indicated there was still one of those rooms available and I knew full well there was not. Very misleading on the part of booking.com. My adult daughter spent 4 hours in surgery the same day we checked in and a total of 10 hours in the hospital. She was in a great deal of pain when we arrived at the hotel. When I arrived, Keshaun G. indicated that we had a standard room. This obviously would not work as my daughter needed the one bed available and her father and I had a one-person pull out couch available. Keshaun called Tara H. who indicated there was nothing she could do. She was very rude and insensitive in her approach. My favorite phrase had to do with not having to “fix my personal problems.” Completely inappropriate. She displayed an insensitivity and aloofness not in line with the image I am sure the organization wants to present. Keshaun called his manager and was able to secure the final room for me at no additional charge. At least he thought he did that as I checked at the front desk this morning and had been charged for both rooms. The young woman at the front desk issued me a refund for the second room. I appreciated Keshaun’s efforts. He indicated that this type of situation had occurred with booking.com and that the remedy was to charge for one room while providing two. This baffled me as Tara never suggested this or any other remedy. She just kept repeating there was nothing she could do in her rude and condescending tone.

The location was good for what I needed.

Only one washing machine for the whole hotel, the others were out of order and no reply to my email complaining about the situation. Night staff too busy on their mobile phones texting and made me wait at reception until they had finished texting - poor customer service. Hotel was dated and communal areas were scruffy. Really disappointed by this hotel after paying the amount we did. Won’t be staying here again.

I liked the way the breakfast was set up.

I wanted to relax in the pool. However, we could not use the swimming pool because local residents who do not stay at the hotel seemed to come and play (about 20 people). They stayed until the swimming pool closed and they left the hotel. I

Location is good. Overall it's clean.

When we arrived at the first night we were very tired and wanted to get some rest. But there was a party in the garden and it was very noisy people were singing loudly with speakers and it didn't stop until 12:00 am... Never seen a hotel like this before. And then the front desk staff in the second night was very rude... I was buying some snacks but he seemed very impatient and when I said thank you very much he didn't reply a single word but kept looking at his phone... Again, never seen a IHG staff like this before...

I like the hotel room and breakfast

We didn't like that the hotel was connected to another hotel that shared the pool and the back area. They had karaoke late at night. People coming from parking and just coming swimming. I feel like the room price should have been alittle better what they were with some issues.

The room was clean, spacious, and modern. The bed was really comfortable. The pool was so nice.
