Great clean place with friendly staff and horrible WiFi

Was clean room was nicely upgraded. When they finish the construction it will be very nice. Staff was very friendly and nice.

The only thing was Verizon has no reception in that area and the WiFi there is junk. Doesn’t stay connected and you have to connect through internet site. It’s slow and just not good at all. I literally couldn’t get on line. Being I was traveling for work that was a problem. Other wise the place is nice.

Hotel was under renovation and checking process was very strange and oddly located.

Virginia Beach nightmare

Location

Construction disaster, no Wifi signal in the rooms, all ice machines down, dark and scarce parking. Nighttime receptionist very rude. Rooms filthy and leaking toilet and sink

Terrible

Not too much, no one said it was under construction when I booked room. No ice machine, room service sucked bad. I won’t be bask, this was the second time and 2 years the hotel was under construction. Still looks the same nothing different that I seen. By wife getting away for her birthday was a terrible experience at this hotel. Never come back.

Overall decent place to stay for a couple of nights.

Comfortable beds and linens, convenient location, spacious room, front desk attendant at night (Cay) was very pleasant, plenty of hot water and good water pressure, TV had lots of options, WIFI was strong, provided ear plugs due to construction

- Since I was traveling with kids I intentionally booked a room where breakfast was included. Only received 2 breakfast passes even though reservation was for 4. Was told I would have to pay 12.99 each for the kids (10 and 6) to eat at the buffet because they wont authorize more than 2 passes for the room. It was barely a buffet with only eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, and toast. Upon checkin we were given a menu with other breakfast options we could order for room service but then, when I asked the next morning, we were told it wasn't an option due to the hotel being at capacity. I was then told that the breakfast that was included in my room price wouldn't cover room service anyway. - Indoor pool was not heated and the flooring around it was VERY slippery. Spotted a couple large cockroaches/water bugs down there. - There was only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel and it ran out of ice on the second night. - Furnishings in the room are very wobbly and falling apart. - The walls are pretty thin. Neighbors were blasting music at 130 am on one side and the ones on the other side were talking loud enough that we could hear them.

Very disappointed

Staff was nice

There was construction going on. There wasn't much parking due to conex boxes all over the parking lot. The TV kept going out, very noisy. It was not worth almost $600 for 2 nights

Disappointing

The shower and towels were very dirty. The pull-out bed had lots of crumbs once unfolded and the bed was very dirty and smelt very funny (like pee). The sink was clogged up, so the water took forever to drain when washing your hands or your face and brushing your teeth.

Never again! Wait for 2024....

The location was okay, close to the interstate and rather close to VB.

Basically everything. The hotel is being redecorated but charges a full price with poor quality. Furniture was broken or malfunctioning, breakfast was very limited (not only due to delivery problems), roomcleaning was simply not done, even after asking and the lobby was sort of "dead". In the last couple of years I have never experienced a hotel which was so bad on value for the money. An absolute disgrase. For the same amount of money much better hotels available and closer to VB.

The staff was excellent, very friendly and very welcome

well, honestly, my room could’ve been a little bit cleaner wrong. The bathroom was horrible. The showerhead was falling out of the wall. It just needs a lot of work.

The toilet was messed up, and they sent someone quick, but it didn't fix the issue. I asked for a king bed for me and my girl, but I ended with a double, which was disappointing. I thought breakfast was included, but they told me I had to pay for it

Exceptional

I liked being on the bottom floor dinner and breakfast was great we enjoyed ourselves. And you don't allow pets that's the greatest thing ever.

Exceptional and bad

Barry was so helpful on both nightsthat he was there. When we had no hot water in my handicapped room he found us another one right next door that did have hot water and helped us move onto the room. Well above what he needed to do.

Coming back on Christmas morning and notbeing able to get in my room because a pipe burst in the main lobby. Not being able to have breakfast on the morning we were leaving because of the burst pipe which had been fixed.

Take into consideration older Travelers

The area was good.

I did not like that I called prior to our arriving asking for a early check-in being that we had a 4-Hour drive to Virginia from Maryland. On the telephone they were telling me they couldn't guarantee it. I have been to so many hotels and I know they always have rooms clean. They just want you to check in when they I want you to check in at the designated time. They should really take into consideration that some people are older and after having a long ride, you are ready to get into your room freshen up and relax and take your medications. 4 pm is a late check-in and they surely want you out by 11am. Not 1 person was at breakfast. I imagine it's expensive. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and when you walk in it is gorgeous. However they need to do some work on the inside. The bathrooms are very small the toilet is almost inside the bathtub. And they need to renovate the doors need repair and walls are all damaged.
