Location and the historic feel.
No refrigerator or microwave in guest rooms. No laundry. Housekeeping never came to our room on our 4 day stay. Returned to our room after a night out to our bed still stripped of linen after removing them ourselves. Someone else’s hair in the shower. Standard flat pillows on a king size bed.

Nothing
The room smelled horrible, old mold, mildew, smoke smell,I couldn’t breathe and I think I have a respiratory infection after walking in the room. The front desk attendant was on some thing.

Location was good; right near everything.
Facilities need to be upgraded. Carpets, bathrooms are very old and musty.

Picturesque breakfast area and a wonderful selection of food. Quiet stay which was appreciated.
All pillows were soft…would have preferred a choice of a firmer one.

Historic, nice common areas, well decorated, clean, quiet, safe. The valet parking downtown is nice.
It’s in an area where there are no places to eat, have a drink without walking a good ways, which would work, but the dining room closed at eight and the bar at nine.

the staff was very friendly! the building ITSELF was very unique and well kept. the breakfast was really good. a lot of choices!
The dinner at the restaurant was NOT worth the money they charge. My pork chop was extremely tough, my husband’s sandwich was 20$ for something I could have slapped together my self and my son’s shrimp and grits was poorly thrown together. Looks like the CHEF just threw some frozen shrimp into some grits. Also, I don’t understand why they would want to try to modernize the restaurant when the rest of the building is unique and antique. They lost brownie points for that.

Breakfast was great. Really appreciate that it was included with the room and the options available were great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Loved the location and the old historic feeling.
Free on site parking would have made the stay tho the street side was easy and safe.

We had an unexpected emergency and tried to cancel our reservation and they would not do so. We asked could we come at another time and they refused. Poor customer service. Very disappointing.

We stayed at the property to attend a concert at the BJCC because it was within walking distance. Service was great, bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay
Booking needs to do a better job of posting the $38 parking fee for the hotel.

Bed was not comfortable

Friendly staff, small but comfortable rooms; great location.
Noisy high schoolers running and talking loudly through the halls until well after midnight. No chaperones in sight and even after asking politely, was ignored. Having to find your own on-street parking or pay high valet charges was also a disappointment.

Very clean, comfy bed, beautiful hotel!
It took a long time for the shower to get hot water but we let it run for about 10 minutes and it finally warmed up! It’s in the center of town so I wouldn’t venture out at night.

The breaksfast and staff were good.
First, I would like to say I love the property and location. I stayed in Room 217. The bathroom was dusty on the towel holders. The bed sunk in the middle. The Matteress had stains on it. The fitted sheet was put on backwards. The biggest problem I had was the water in the shower didn’t drain properly so it filled up 🤢🤢. I didn’t complain because I stayed one night and just had to get some rest.

Super big rooms adjoining for family members. And a bath - luxury.
The only comment is that you could make it clearer that you need to drive round the back for access and valet parking.

My annual Solo trip. This is truly an exceptional, historical, luxury level hotel. 10+ on every aspect of service, accommodation, location, and consistency each year. From the restaurant/lounge, front entrance, outdoor seating, private event spaces, and valet parking 💯 % the greatest experience of ANY hotel in the Linn Park area. Looking forward to next year's visit 😊
