Disappointing

We were checked into an occupied room The staff did not take it seriously. That’s a very good way to get shot. When I spoke to the manager , he said this was just a mistake and no big deal , very disappointed with his attitude

Not going back.

The location

The room smelled bad, like dirty, soggy carpet, and made the stay unpleasant. the hallway was also carpet but did not smell bad. Also, the pool was not heated as it said that it will be.

Pleasant, comfortable stay

The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was very comfortable with plenty of towels, pillows, and toiletries.

It was a little further from my destination and pricier than my usual hotel in the area. That being said I would still consider staying there in the future.

Great time at the Holiday Inn. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel was located in a central area. There was a Walmart 5 minutes away. There was also many stores around the area. It was about a 20-25 minute drive to Sesame place, which was my reason for coming to Philadelphia.

No complaints about the property.

We loved it!!!

After a long, hot day at sesame place we relaxed in the spacious rooms, the air conditioners were extra cold, the pool was clean and so much fun. Comfy bed, pillows and sofa bed. Breakfast was delicious with options for everyone!

room was clean. breakfast was OK.

We asked for a quiet room but found out our room was facing the busy main street. The rooms opposite to us are much quieter. So much for our request! luckily we had ear plugs.

The staff needs to be better, much better

There were adequate options for breakfast. The rooms were a great size, and very clean.

The staff were not very friendly. Checking in, the man working at the front desk seemed annoyed that my family and I had to check in. Upon checking out, I requested a late check out. The staff member told me that I would only be able to extend 30 minutes, even though my flight was at 7 pm!

horrible ending due to horrible non-sympathetic manager...just awful person

I had an ill mother and had to extend my stay twice, and then a death and funeral, and when I asked to extend the last of what was already a 16 day stay, for just a few more hours until 3pm on Sunday *their LEAST) busy day (from the normal checkout at 11am), the "manager" refused and said I had to buy another night.... which I had no choice but to do since we needed to go to funeral and burial and then come back and change for planes and to leave.... it would have cost them NOTHING to say yes, and I even offered to pay half day or $75 for the 2 extra hours (they offer a 2hr extension free most times, but not 4) and they refused.... just a horrible manger (the staff on site was great)

would have appreciated a small courtesy for 2 more hours on last day after 16 day stay from a non-sympathetic manager (to finish a funeral and then change and leave)

Family vacation

I like the hotel staff. It was very white and clean. The pancake machine was really cool for the kids. The pool was nice. The ice machine worked. The bathroom on the first floor was nice after drinking cranberry juice with the free breakfast I couldn't make it back to the 2nd floor for my room. The room was big. The boys had plenty of room to run and play it tag.

The pull out sofa bed was nice but hard for boys to sleep on one fell off the bed. They never had bacon just sausage. The omelette never looked good.

The room was a great size. Everything was clean.

There was no channel guide for the tv and it was very basic channels. Would have liked to watch tv at night but ended up watching on my tablet instead.

Great value, should be a three star hotel

The location was convenient, the room was spacious, buffet breakfast had multiple options to choose from which was excellent. The spa/swimming pool was very nice, not a lot of people stayed so we had the area by ourselves. Laundry was also clean, no one seemed to be using it so we took the chance.

Room cleanliness could be improved, found an apple on the floor under the TV, probably the last customer dropped it. Also the swimming pool water should probably be changed.

Our stay was very nice, except for just that one problem.

Very nice breakfast and the hotel was very nice and clean.

The only problem we had was the refrigerator, every time it came on it made a loud humming noise, which was annoying.

Staff should clear trash from common areas daily, thoroughly clean rooms for housekeeping, and replace water and clean towels in the gym!

We are on our honeymoon and had terrible experience. There was noise in the room as if there were people with us talking loudly ALL night from the reception. The receptionist acknowledged that it is a known problem but they would not help us in any way. The room was also dirty filled with hair. we spoke to the hotel manager Jack and he was very rude and refused to help us we are very disappointed
