Not the gracious Centrella we remember

Location is great and some of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our bed was pretty comfy.

Breakfast was a very minimal continental breakfast. Room was so small the only way to unpack anything was to put your suitcase on the bed, retrieve what you need and then no where to put suitcase. Woman at the desk at breakfast got annoyed when I asked about ingredients in bagels due to my husband having a severe allergy. Parking was not good, about 5 private spaces and then you circle the block(s) repeatedly.

Lovely area; nice hotel

A lot of care is taken of the property. It was nice to be welcomed by a glass of wine. The breakfast was healthy (although you can have pre-made muffins and croissants if you choose…!)

I used to love coming here but not anymore. I think Kirkwood ownership has killed the charm.

Great location and the lady who serve us breakfast was lovely.

The room was dark and they didn’t have a spare table lamp. The woman who checked us in couldn’t have cared less and was no help, never offered us our complimentary wine. Trash from the unit above was sitting outside our cottage when we returned from breakfast. It’s no longer a quaint b&b, just a property owned by Kirkwood.

Fabulous location for everything!

The breakfast was perfect for us. Loved the yogurt parfaits. And we enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden in the evenings!

If you're arriving late be aware that the doors are locked at 9 or 10. It did say it on the booking, I just hadn't read it properly and it took a bit to figure out how to get in. They had texted but I don't have a US phone plan so I couldn't get the message. None of it was their fault, all me, just a note to be aware of your check in time and contact them ahead of time if you're going to be later than 9.

Lovely place, it is old but expected since it is historic but well maintained, only issue was heat

This was a very charming place to stay at an excellent location. Staff was great.

Had heat issue in my room. it didn't work. the next morning was very cold and they gave me a space heater which was great. The night staff should have done that for me when i said heat didn't work. other than that i loved it and would stay again.

Great Improvisation During the New Year's Eve Blackout!

Excellent hospitality staff - The wind took out a significant part of the electricity in the area on New Year's Eve for about 6 hours. The staff brought out lanterns and continued serving cookies, coffee, and wine to guests who chose to stay. They also were very patient and helpful to those who chose to move on to different hotels, although most were also without electricity. This next coment does NOT reflect on the hotel itself - Kirkwood Collections should seriously consider providing a back-up generator to this property, as outtages are becoming more common in this central coast region.

Lovely accommodations at a decent price and in a perfect location.

The location was perfect for my needs. 20 minute walk along the coast to the Monterey Bay aquarium. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast of yogurt parfait and homemade scones was delicious, and the complimentary glass of wine in the evening was a bonus.

This is an old building with single pane windows, so expect to hear some road noise. If that's a problem for you consider taking earplugs.

Delightful Victorian B & B /Great Night Sleep!

the Charm of this Victorian was perfect and well maintained too! our room 22 was quiet and the heater worked well ! the bed was comfortable and bedding cosy. Nice to have hot drinks all day long with bakery items too !

the Breakfast needed variety and Eggs/ ham/ bacon / protein .. although the yogurt parfait was excellent (don’t change those ! ) and the fresh scones were great too , just only sweets got to bee too much every day the same . ( reason I could not give a 10 rating overall)

Beautiful Heritage Inn

The heritage inn and our room where very nice. It was within walking or short driving distance to the sites in the immediate area. The breakfast was good as well as the home baked treats and wine in the late afternoon. None of this was mentioned on the Booking.com site so it was a lovely surprise. The reception staff was very pleasant.

exactly what we needed for a short stay on our travel from San Diego to San Francisco

The staff was super friendly. Free cookies were offered the day, as well as a daily breakfast consisting of yogurt with granola and scones. Hot drinks always available in the main room (with table games and cards). The hotel is small but cute, very close to the beach walk path towards Monterey.
