Location is outstanding within easy walking distance to Monterey, PC and trails.
Bathroom in Crows Nest was fine but could use some updating. Breakfast could start a little earlier than 8:30.

Hospitality of the hostess; clean, cozy room

It’s a lovely place to stay, excellent place and delicious breakfast. It’s close to the waters so you can take a stroll along the bay.

The location was great and an easy walk to the water. Angela was wonderful and so helpful during our stay. The breakfast was wonderful on both mornings we were there. The bathroom in our room had a jacuzzi.
Our room did not have a TV but games were available. We spent more time engaging with each other and away from technology.

Comfortable room. Bed was comfortable. Gardens beautiful. Too cold to spend anytime outside though. Inside decorated nicely for holiday. Public rooms inviting.
Staff was not personable or friendly, but accommodating. Hard to understand some of their English. Nothing was clearly explained to us about use of public rooms or jacuzzi tube. After breakfast, staff disappeared. No one arround rest of day. No wine & snacks in evening like advertised. We visited in Jan, no fire in fireplace in public room so room was freezing. Could not relax and enjoy what looked like a comfortable room. Breakfast was edible, but boring. No fresh brewed decaf coffee or tea. Individual tables, no seating with other guests so no getting to meet other people and visiting with each other. That was disappointing.

Beautiful place, amazing breakfast and lovely staff!

Customer service (all the staff are willing to help and make your stay perfect)
The location is great, quite are and it is just one block away of the most beautiful ocean view and beach trail.
The room doesn't have any small table to put some of your staff. But it's a minor detail. Everything was clean and with really good taste in decoration

Breakfast was excellent. Angela was amazing, so helpful and kind.

The breakfast was wonderful. Freshly cooked french toast, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and tea.
We were on the main floor. The traffic noise was loud.
The price was high, but it turns out that it was Car Week and rooms were scarce.

Very nice little bed and breakfast, family run and owned, felt like staying with family. Breakfast was good, location was good in that it was close to the water but could have been closer to restaurants etc. Worth a little extra walk for this gem though.

The whole experience was delightful. The House was beautifully appointed, Angela the hostess was very friendly and super efficient and the food and hospitality was outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome and well looked after.
Our children complained that the wifi kept cutting out! But we had absolutely nothing else that we didn't like.

The breakfasts were fantastic! The location was good...I was going to Asilomar daily, so it was only about 7 minutes. The staff was superb, kind, accommodating, and friendly. It was convenient to downtown Pacific Grove.

Very friendly staff, clean and Quaint property.
The bed in the room we stayed in was terrible. It was to soft and sunk down in the middle. It was a double size not a queen as stated.

Limited breakfast options for those with dietary restrictions.
There were ants in the room, otherwise very comfortable.

Good location
Poor breakfast (prescribed menu each day). Felt slightly unwelcome by host… possibly as we didn’t swoon over the decor and styling of the property, which is probably noteworthy in the US, but staid and “meh” when you have been born and raised in England. There is little charm in having things like the shower with Victorian functionality and ease of use (1 degree of lever movement between freezing and scalding). Extremely squeaky bed for our kids. Beds were very comfy, but theirs screeched with every movement.

Great place to stay when visiting the Monterey area. Excellent breakfast, friendly/responsive staff, very clean. Walkable to Cannery Row and Lover's Point. Parking was easy.

It had a cozy and charming feel to it. It’s conveniently located near the local happenings. The outdoor space was my favorite. I enjoyed my late evening by the fireplace in the garden area.
Older building though. Room was tiny, very musky and the beds were not that comfortable
4.5
Great breakfast and friendly staff, comfortable beds and wonderful location. We also enjoyed the garden for afternoon wine time. Plenty of street parking and a quiet neighborhood.

This is a very attractive inn, within walking distance of the Aquarium, the shore, and downtown Pacific Grove. It is filled with quite stunning antiques, and the room was quite comfortable.
It seemed to be staffed by recent immigrants who had less than full command of English and of the routines of hosting.

I love the feeling of home, the welcoming with cherry, quietness of the space and accessibility to beautiful spaces and great food.

Breakfast was very nice. The host very attentive. The bread pudding she served and the frittata were very tastey.
I would have like a lower price!

The garden was beautiful. I loved the breakfast being part of the package. Inside the home there were lots of places to sit, play games, and enjoy the view. I loved that there were no TV’s in the B&B.
No suggestions.
