Clean and comfortable
I was not told about the parking fee nor the breakfast was not included. When I asked the staff did not give satisfactory answer. Disappointed overall , unlike my previous stays at Hilton

Size of the room, comfort of bed, lock box
Awkward location buy construction and indoor parking lots, no view, no pantry, no breakfast included, key cards not working when I arrived, wifi not working the morning I checked out so unable to order uber taxi
3.8
location, could walk to several great places for dinner
front desk person “training” - did not tell us about mezzanine floor, was distracted by us asking about parking, lobby under construction

Nothing!!!!
Very disappointed. Outdated. Not very clean. Didn’t know about the construction. The staff wasn’t considerate or friendly. I will never go back. Not worth the money.!!!

Convinced to the hospital
The Female manager was rude and unfriendly

Only the location.
The hotel was under major refurbishment and was not fit to receive guests. There was dust, construction noise. There was no restaurant or gym and the pantry was closed. The lifts kept breaking down and did not feel safe. The aircon in room didn’t work. We had prepaid full price and hotel provided no assistance with complaints as we’d purchased via booking.com. We are in dispute with booking.com regarding this reservation and the two other reservations at this hotel. It was the worst experience we have ever had with a hotel and booking.com customer service is terrible and have done nothing.

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable.
The picture and information stated this Hilton had a restaurant and a bar. That was a main feature for choosing this Hotel. We wanted to have lunch and dinner on the property. The Hotel was under construction, however, but the listing did not reflect this current change. We also lost water in our room and was not informed. We came back from a walk, to take a shower and then attend a medical appointment (reason we were in MD) and we had no water. As we can appreciate this can happen, a phone message or being informed would be the appropriate and professional thing to do. The gentlemen at the front desk stated, "Oh I like you two", so I will give you free breakfast since there wasn't a restaurant or bar for your stay". That comment was not professional. He should have just given us the breakfast with no charge.

Location, rate and cleanliness.
Staff was a little uptight.

nothing
they said the parking will be free for me as a complementary for the inconvenience of the renovation. however, I was charged 28 dollars daily for my stay, and I stayed 7 nights. it was hidden in the charges without mentioning that they would charge for the parking even though I was told it would be free for me.

Location
1. No regular cleaning and floor was not vacuumed despite several reminders
2. Construction work ongoing and no advance notice
3. Gym closed and no advance notice
4. Front desk not cooperative when complaints were mentioned
5. Multiple bookings on my credit card without proper explanation

Location was the highlight. Walking distance to Bethesda Row and metro.
Carpet didn’t look or feel clean, a towel was on the bathroom counter when I arrived like it had been used. Tables in room could’ve been cleaner. Would’ve liked to have a pen to use in the room. Construction was going on in part of the building so it was boarded up on one side. Bed did not look or feel like a king size which is the room size I ordered.

The room and bed were fine.
At the time of making my booking, it was not disclosed that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The fitness center was closed. The mini shop near the front desk was nearly empty. And when I needed to do laundry, the front desk had no quarters for my to buy. I had to walk 10 minutes down the road to buy quarters.

Location
Everything was terrible except the location.

Location.
Under construction at time of visit. No advance notice given that elevator access was limited at times (had to wait over 20 minutes) fitness center was not available. Hotel was very noisy. No housekeeping offered first night. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling.

Not much. Staff was rude. Renovations had the bar and grill closed. The sign in the garage stated a lower parking fee than the bill were.
Renovations had the bar and grill closed. The website did not state any of this. If I knew this I would have not reserved 2 rooms here. The best thing I like about Hilton Gardens is the bar and grill. The ac did not work the first night in my son’s room and they were moved day two after numerous attempts with the staff to get it fixed. The safe in my room was inoperable and it took me 3 attempts with staff to finally change the battery. The last night my ac in my room stopped working (no sleep)This was the most horrible stay ever at a Hilton Garden. I tried calling front desk to let them know I would be
checking in later than expected and no one answered after several attempts.
I asked the front desk to ensure my Hilton points were added to my honor card but the told me to wait until check out. Never experienced this. Upon arrival the front desk clerk was checking in some folks that weren’t of color and when I approached the desk she asked me rudely “what did I want”. Just an horrible experience all together. Parking garage is very cramped for $28 a day. Once I arrived it was shortly after midnight but was still charged for the day prior!!!!

Room faced away from busy street so was quiet. Attached parking garage was very covenient . Lots of restaurants etc close by.
Front desk staff were far from engaged . Morning coffee thermos ran out and staff supposedly called for more , instead of replacing the thermos, after quite a while a woman appeared with a coffee pot ( 10 cup size) and topped up the empty thermos. There were easily 10 people awaiting a fresh cup of coffee at that time? Front desk person didn’t seem phased by the inconvenience at all . The lobby area is under renovation, so it was so tested and confusing for everyone checking in …. Staff didnt seem to care , or offer much of an explanation.

The location is convenient to shopping, dining, metro. I have stayed there a few times before.
The property is under renovation/construction - nowhere in the booking information did it specify that. The restaurant and bar, gym and pool are all closed. Only one elevator was working.

Good location
The tight small parking garage and broken toilet handle.

Just the managers was very nice.
Had construction with loud noise!!!

Located close to the Metro and cafes
The facilities were basic, such as no daily room service

Location
Advertised a restaurant and a bar. Neither were open and sign said closed until further notice. We should of been informed before we booked. Also, the air in our room did not work. Miserable night of being hot. Room was 76 degrees Also bed seemed old and not comfortable. Very upsetting about the property.

It was a good location near Metro and close to shopping area and restaurants.
It was very scary the situation I was in the room watching TV. I did not hear the alarm said evacuate the building. I was inside the room and no alarm did not go off in the room at all. My fiance called me from outside of the building to tell me the evacuate the building I was still in the room at the time. When I open up the door I can hear a lady on a voice recording very low stand to take the stairwell do not take the elevator. The alarm never went off in the room. When I got down to the main level I can smell some smoke. They said it was coming from the basement of the hotel. When I got outside I can still see people in their rooms on the top levels looking at us. It is something wrong with their fire alarm system and never went all. The very scary situation. They need to check their alarm system.

Comfortable room, but same issue as when I visited in 2022. Bed sheets that don't fit a bed. Seems like the bottom sheet shrunk in the drier probably from so much overuse. Should be embarrassing to management. Also, for future guests- don't bother typing up special requests on here. Hotels don't read it, or if they do they just ignore the requests. Countless times over the past 5 years I have requested extra soaps from hotels on Booking.com, coffee packets, sugars, creamers because they leave such a small amount in the room with the drip maker it is ridiculous. You will have to call the front desk on the phone from the room to ask for it again. Then when they finally come upstairs, they will forget sugar or whatever. We are in the era of poor listening skills with customer service or poor retention when you ask for simple things. I also got a free breakfast one of the two days here. The waitress left the buffet area and never returned to the dining room. About 3 other tables ate free as well. The next day, someone was there to charge. Inconsistent and depends on who you get working a shift. Parking fee is a total rip off in a garage that is not that secure underground. $20-21.00 per night. ONE OF THOSE HIDDEN FEES Biden missed in banning with his current Congressional bill passed ridding of ' junk fees ' I assume. There is no free parking in Bethesda. You will even be ripped off at night including weekends with kiosks and meters over near the restaurant district up until 10pm or so. My advice as far as toiletries in the room- bring your own soap. They are miniature in size and adequate for a small child, not for an adult to shower with and when I asked the maid in the hallway for more next morning, she couldn't understand what I was saying having no clue what the word soap is. Imagine that. Hired to do a job and can't speak nor comprehend a word of basic English, and simple words involving products used in the daily job they landed.
