The hotel room was clean and smelled amazing. the room was renovated and it looked AMAZING with all the new renovations done to the hotel.
the Breakfast wasn't bad. it had everything you needed for a quick morning meal.
the location of the hotel was so continent for everything you would need. there was some close fast food and a gas station across the street for snacks.

I hated everything about this place
Rude staff, the room smelled terrible and when we tried to check out a day earlier they wouldn’t let us. The woman working the stand was especially annoying towards us. Didn’t smile, didn’t help or anything.
I didn’t feel welcome here at all. Ended up leaving a day early and booking another hotel. Whilst still having to pay for the reaming days
2.0
The room was comfortable and clean.
The location was sketchy. Lots of homeless folks in the area made it feel unsafe. Not enough parking spaces in the lot and the secondary parking was not secure.

Nothing!
The room itself was fine but the building and the surrounding street squalor was right out of a scary movie. I was required to pay $15 for overnight parking and in the end there were not enough parking spots in the "secure" front lot to accommodate all room tenants! The "overflow" parking area was outside the fenced compound area on the edge of a rough looking neighborhood. I wound up parking at my Niece's place 2 miles away and had them run me back & forth to the hotel. Ridiculous price considering the parking fee and the "bag" breakfast the next morning.

No swimming pool, no microwave, no refrigerator, and not enough breakfast.

The staff were friendly, but nothing else really.
it’s located in, by what we witnessed and what locals also told us, THE worst & most unsafe area of Denver. Our room was small and, whilst clean enough inside, it was impossible not to bring dirt inside on your shoes due to the shabbiness of everything outside. The so called ‘Continental’ breakfast consisted of a snack bar, very small yogurt, a sealed piece of small cake, a mandarin & brewed coffee. Not sure what ‘Continent’ eats that for breakfast? Would have cost them less than $2 to provide.

Very noisy

It seems the rooms have been remodelled recently. It was way better than I expected and the location is very good in the downtown area, very close to the convention center.

Rooms inside were good. Building is old and not well maintained.

The hotel has been renovated fairly recently and the rooms were nice.
Room definitely smells like smoke covered with air freshener. There is a large homeless camp next door to the hotel. It's very noisy at night. Be aware that there is a $100 deposit on check-in, it was refunded within a few days.

The price.
The hotel was very rundown. Additionally, the location was a unsafe. Drug dealers and many unhoused people roamed the area.
2.0
The room was always clean and tidy. Comfortable bed.
The noise and opera music being played 24hs a day from the 7-11 gas station opposite due to the people outside wasn't well received.
3.0
Central location to everything on Colfax Ave and Downtown. Easy bus routes to find and get around town. Free filtered water downstairs to fill water bottles.
Bed was lumpy and uncomforatble. Pillows were terrible. It was very loud in the room. Bathroom door didn't shut and there wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Not the best of neighborhoods – would not have felt comfortable walking around alone.

None.
Breakfast. Scary location next to homeless encampment.

Nothing.
Horrible location; dangerous neighborhood. Noisy into the early morning, due to neighboring venues. Not safe to walk even 1000” to the Cathedral or Basilica, even in the daytime. Street people. No encampments that I observed. Another guest checked out with me saying he needed to find another lodging. That said it all.

Not a lot
Our evening receptionist claimed 4 cards 'declined' - had to pay in cash (when a clearly displayed sign stated 'cash not accepted'.) Her attitude was not helpful at all (note; all cards were valid and have been subsequently accepted elsewhere in CO and UT).
Adding to that not-very-welcoming experience were the vagrants in the hotel and their gathering outside. Our door remained firmly locked.
We understand the systemic problem in US cities - but the reputation of this hotel chain is damaged through their apparent (as told by our Uber driver) of vouchers to house the 'homeless' when accepting (at full rate) bookings from vacationing or travelling guests.
Somewhat disappointed....
