Size of the room. Separate rooms in the same suite.
Broken toilet for 5 people entire 2 days we were there. Flooded first time it was used and never fixed that night. Came back late the next night to find water out to the hall and the fridge. All I got from staff was I'm sorry and We thought it was fixed.
Also, one of the main reasons we booked here was the pool and it was unavailable the entire time we were there.

It was fine for an overnighter on a long road trip & allowed pets.
The second I walked through the door the lady at the desk yelled across the lobby “do you have a reservation?” No “hello” or “welcome.” My first impression was that I was an uninvited intruder, although I did in fact have a reservation.
I traveled with my dog but this “dog friendly” hotel had signs all over “keep dogs off grass.” 😣 There was a small fenced area where they were allowed. The location isn’t particularly walkable (right off busy street/highway with nowhere to go; sidewalk ended) so even to take my dog on a walk (since she had to “stay off the grass”) was a challenge. I’ve stayed at many dog friendly hotels; in terms of accommodations for dogs, this was one of the worst. Although the room was OK, I won’t book it again for that reason. And the rude desk clerk,

Location, size of the room and pet friendly
The room was dirty. Bed spread was not washed and there was red stuff on it blood or ketchup, water damage on the ceiling and a huge brown streak behind the chair unsure if that was caused from the water damage

The desk clerk went way over and above her duties to accommodate us.

Very easy location. Hotel was clean. It is dog friendly and we appreciated that. Breakfast was really good and the ladies in the kitchen were super nice.
Carpets were dirty and the pillows were very tiny and uncomfortable. King size beds should have larger pillows!

Location was convenient
Lack of communication among staff. Reported a flickering light on checkin in the bathroom. Reported to reception who wrote it down and said maintenance would look at it next morning. Next day at 4.30pm, still wasn’t fixed. Checked with reception and the lady said , she had not even looked in the handover book. Then was told maintenance did not come in, apparently ? I am surprised that house keeping do not notice these things before we even check in ? Room did have a damp smell. Better to pay extra and go somewhere else.

room was very spacious had a view. Also dog friendly. Offered breakfast even though we did not really partake but it was there for the taking. We would stay here again.
the place was great but the staff not too friendly. They weren't rude or anything just not friendly. Felt like they would rather be somewhere else.

This was our first time staying in Cedar City, Utah and did not know where to stay. I'm so glad I chose this hotel! Very nice and clean. They are in the process of renovating, but I did not hear any noise during my stay. Bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable. Shower pressure was great, I prefer a strong stream, while my husband prefers more of a softer rainfall type, we were able to switch the settings to accommodate us both. Fridge kept our water bottles cold and the ac unit kept us cool all day and night. We will definitely choose to stay here the next time we are in Cedar City.
Just one elevator and our room was way at the end of the hall, but not a big deal at all.

This was a repeat stay for me at this location. Great spot when traveling through. Very comfy beds and easy access from the interstate
The people in the room above me spent several hours running back and forth across the room- not sure if it was a kid with too much energy or what. The thin insulation from floors meant we heard what sounded like a herd of small animals well into the night. And no- it was not a dog- this was two feet running back and forth after the locations prescribed quiet hours.

The room was comfortable, a good value, and once we found our way around, handy to everything.
The entrance and exit to the thoroughfare were a bit dicey with steep curbs and a very quick entrance to the hotel parking lot once turning onto the street.

Not great! No fresh apples or fruit.
Staff didn’t show any personality. They seemed bored. Pool hours posted in room and on pool entrance not accurate. We finally went to front desk and they opened pool 1 hour and 15 minutes after time posted in room. Pool and hot tub were nice and clean.

Breakfast was great, bed good, bathroom good, well lit. Good lighting in room.
I can't believe the windows didn't have blackout curtains. There were two three story high ultra bright spotlights outside my window. There was no way to block the light out. The only curtains that covered the window were sheers that did little to block the light. Very hard time going to sleep, had to take a sleep aid which I hardly ever do. I don't think I have ever stayed in a motel like this, with no way to shut out the light.
Second complaint is that I tried to call the property half a dozen times that morning before my arrival with a question. No one EVER answered the phone. I finally left a voice mail message, but no one called me back. Also, I tried the messaging app off of the Booking.com website and no one answered that either. I will never stay at this motel again. I have always like Comfort Inn's and have stayed many, many times over the years. VERY disappointed here.
The clerk who checked me in was barely competent. Wasn't even there when I arrived. Then, instead of checking in at the main counter, had to move to a side booth which had a glass barrier. Felt like checking in at a cheap motel. Maybe this is left over from Covid, but it just wasn't very welcoming.

Room was spacious. Had a refrig and microwave. Bedding nice enough; lighting was ok. Breakfast was mediocre but staff was present to keep up with the food and taking out overflowing trash bin (need a 2nd trash bin). Close to freeway but the off-freeway side was quiet.
The lobby was a surprise: it was dingy with minimum, dull lighting. No welcome sign or even a fresh plant on the empty check-in counter. Receptionist was in a tiny, dark corner space behind glass. Sterile attitude. Tacky hand-lettered signs posted about quiet hours. Could NOT find one of the 4 carts to help us at checkout. Carried out luggage, cooler etc by hand down from 3rd floor. At night, the toilet tank kept coming on repeatedly...irritating and disturbed sleep. Will not stay here again.

The furniture in my room was very limited. The bathtub was small. The room was hot all night and I had to turn on the A/C even though it was cold outside. We could hear noise all night long.
