Could be exceptional with a bit of work.

Front desk staff were very personable and helpful. The location can't be beat. The room contained relatively new looking furniture and accessories. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a nice view of the ocean.

Some of the public areas (the elevator and main hallways) would benefit from a deep cleaning. Also, we found small pieces of trash on the floor of the room, under the curtains, etc.

Nice location cause you're by the beach.. Comfortable cosy room. All in all pretty good!

There was an HDMI cable so we were able to watch our favorite TV show! Comfy beds, close to the beach

Great location, but horrible service and property upkeep.

The location was great. Rooms were big.

We experienced several issues during our stay: our room wasn't cleaned for two consecutive days, the elevator was out of service, the restaurant next door obstructed our supposed 'Ocean views,' and the paint touch-ups and walkway carpet around the property were dirty and unsatisfactory.

Great location by the ocean, great restaurants But not a great hotel for the money!

Loved the location! The front desk people were very friendly and the beds, lindens, pillows all very nice..

The stairwell and hallway carpeting desperately need replacement- very dirty and worn, ripped in places. Also I asked 3-4 times if we could upgrade to Oceanside top floor room during our 4 nite stay. They assured me I would be notified when ( after the weekend) one would be available. It never happened and I know after Sun several were available. Also, our room was only cleaned once and we had to call front desk several times to Inquire about cleaning as well as shagging down the cleaning lady in hall for extra towels, coffee cups. All very frustrating. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and my husbands birthday. This was kind of annoying to come back to our room and find it hadn’t been cleaned even by 6;00 at nite! The manager did not charge us for parking for 4 days so that was some compensation! We loved Pacifica, but probably would not stay here again in the future…

Disappointing for the number of stars, this was a dud.

Location was great

Bathroom was not clean, bathroom door would not close, only one set of towels for two people but did not use them as did not want to take a shower the bathtub was so dirty. View was great but the windows were filthy. Lots of paint dings and odd repairs. Weather was bad but the room was so unwelcoming and uncomfortable to be in that we actually left a day early.

Will definitely book again!

So close to the ocean!! If you get an ocean view room, you can hear the ocean with the window open!

We had a tiny ant problem. However, management was more than accommodating and took care of the problem ASAP!

Very poor

The location

The room. We were on the 2nd floor and we heard the 3rd floor most of the night and our room next door. The street light shined directly into our room. We had an ocean view and as long as you looked out over the roof of the restaurant you could see the ocean.

I really like that the place is dog friendly. I didn't realize that before going. Next time Ill bring our dog. The room was perfect and I like the self care items in the bathroom. Very nice touch!

No Breakfast and only decaf coffee in our room.

Next time we would stay at the Marriott around the corner. Better value with breakfast available and covered parking.

Location. Room had been updated and was visually appealing and relatively clean.

Dirty facilities and grounds. No lobby. We arrived before check in and wanted to use restroom and leave luggage. No restroom available and was told to go to diner down the street.

wanted to get away, and did, for a price

Front desk staff was nice and provided us with extra blankets. clean bathroom and room for the most part. super close to a gas station, a grocery store and a Starbucks as well as the local, walkable shops. was an ok place to spend the night.

hairy and fishy...the extra blankets had a lot of loose hair on them... and the heater smelled like straight up fish sticks, not salty beach air, but stinky fish. needless to say we decided to go cold rather than blast fish air into the room.

The beds were not comfortable and there were two flat twin sheets on a queen bed instead of a queen fitted sheet which was not very comfortable either.

Based on location and overall comfort, friendly staff - I would certainly stay again.

Love the location and was completely surprised at how comfortable the bed was - i.e. very comfortable.

Beautiful ocean view but somewhat ruined by the very dirty windows.

The room was acceptable but other motels-in the area had nicer amenities for the price. I feel the price should be lowe

It was a good location. The room was clean . The bathroom was good clean . Toilet worked well. Parking was good fairly easy to get in and out of the property.

I stayed 3 nights and didn’t get new towels. I had to ask for them. The room was not cleaned up while I was there. The floor was not carpeted ( room 102). The room has paper thin walls the people next door were noisy an bounced around all night.

Great location, not so great everything else

The location can't be beat, literally across the street from the beach. It is an older hotel, but they have done some renovations. The floor is laminate wood and was coming up in spots. We had our shoes off because we were at the beach, and the slats would stick to our feet and lift up. Also, the bathroom door didn't want to stay closed. We had a view of the ocean from our window which was nice, and the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending a restaurant.

The bed was very hard and the water pressure in the shower was weak. We were on the third floor and the large lighted sign for the restaurant across the street shone directly in to our room, so it was very bright.

Wonderful hotel, walking distance to anything you need!

Wonderful space, enough for my little family. We appreciated all of the amenities offered and the selection of food and drinks in the lobby!

Not a complaint but a suggestion to stock milk in the lobby.

Disappointing, I think the new management/owners need to step it up more.

It's a great location. Close to the ocean and walkable to switch back trail. Beautiful views. Quiet, even though they allow dogs to stay. We were not disturbed by noise at all.

The curtains in our room 211 were ruined with pulls/tears in the light fabric ones. The dresser drawer had a chunk bitten out of it on the front by the handle to open it. It looked like a chewing dog/puppy got to it. We have been staying at the Inn, for years since it was the Pacifica Motor Inn. We spend several weekends a year there. It is our favorite weekend get away. It's been clean, comfortable, and reasonable priced weekend retreat, that I hope regains it's former status as a great place, a hidden gem.
